We chose Maple based upon the location, price, food, and reservation availability. All of those were exactly what we were looking for. We were just a short walk to our Broadway show. The ambiance inside is dark and very unique. We found it lovely and intriguing. The food was moderately priced but reasonable for the location and quality of food. The main issue was the service. It was really bad. We waited at length for everything. No one ever asked us if we wanted another drink. They just took away the empty glasses and never came back. I felt like I spent a good deal of time trying to flag down someone to refill our water or bring us another glass of wine. They just kept rushing by our table and never looked at us or checked on us. Overall it was a "good" experience because of the atmosphere and food. They need to step up their game with the service.

This was formerly The Aspen Social Club, so if you've tried googling it and came up with nothing that's why. Great decor, really good food, and our waiter was extremely nice. My only qualm was that he miscounted the number of drinks we ordered and I basically got charged twice for the same drink. I got one at the bar first while waiting for my friends to arrive. I tried explaining but he just was not understanding me, lol! We still tipped him well because the last round of prosecco was still charged under the "Sparkly Friday Special" price, $7, even though it ends at 7pm and we ordered them at like 715pm. Overall, definitely planning to go back, but this time I'll wait till I'm seated to order any drinks.
