Tables are nicely spaced, so that even though the room was very busy we could carry on a conversation. The Crab Chaat was sensational and we "will" be returning to enjoy that again. My tandoor shrimp were wonderful, not to mention the cheddar/garlic naan bread!!! We like to share so we order a few appetizers and split an entree. The tilapia appetizer is excellent; The banana foster dessert is amazing! Personally our waiter, Sam, was just wonderful. The food is prepared beautifully and it is delicious. The mood of the restaurant is lovely...intimate and elegant.We like a variety of tastes so we order a few appetizers to share as well as an entree, also shared. Probably one of the best Indian restaurants we have enjoyed. They have a lounge area as well as the main restaurant. The ambiance is wonderful....you feel like you are in a NYC establishment...lovely bar, lots of wood, mirrors, warm and cozy. The tables are well spaced...the service was very attentive...and the food was delicious. We look forward to our return visit in the near future. Our only objection is that a 18% tip is added to parties of 4 or more. This is not typical and so I see many who don't study the bill adding an additional tip by mistake.
