From special events to dinner for two, Manhattan provides a classy and memorable time for any occasion. There are different elements that Manhattan has to offer that you may not find everywhere in Orange County. On a nightly basis, Wednesday through Saturday, we have live entertainment in our bar/lounge area. Our variety of jazz musicians creates a “Rat Pack” feel you can only experience here. Our steaks were just right. Highly recommend! Cool live jazz spilled over from the bar... Will try the bar scene next visit."

  • "we hadn't been here in years but had a special occasion so I booked through open table.... the seating was fine...the waiter was super attentive and very informative... the drinks were perfect and the food was awesome..... a bonus was the jazz group in the bar which filtered through to us at just the right volume...... so all in all..it was a wonderful evening.....we would highly recommend it!"

  • "An outstanding selection of high end selections of seafood, crab legs already cracked and open, shrimp that is shelled, ahi poke, oysters, sushi and juicy Prime Rib and Duck for starters. Add a wide selection of hot items, fresh cooked crepes, omelets, 3 kinds of Eggs Benedict and a beautiful dessert selection, what's not to like? Beautifully decorated, jazz band playing, a great place to relax on a Sunday with friends. Lots of service personnel to meet your every need, and did I mention limitless Champagne for only $35.95? Got to check this out."

  • "Nice steakhouse with excellent service. Bartender was able to mix up a rare favortie cocktail for me (Eastside with Hendricks). The wine service was excellent with a good selection of affordable wines. My only complaint is the ribeye was too thinly cut with too much marbling with the end result of more gristle than meat."

  • "Food was outstanding, service was over the top!!! Had requested a quiet booth or table away from crowded,or loud areas. What we received was ever so perfect. They seated us upstairs where we basically had our pick of booths. Adult beverages were good, wine was very good and the flaming dessert just topped off the evening. Have not tried it yet, but I understand the Sunday Brunch is very good."

  • "We were celebrating our anniversary and looking for a new place for a great steak. Manhattan was perfect. Ashton was a fabulous waiter and his assistant was top notch. Our glasses were never empty :) The food was delicious. We had the rib eye steak with fingerling potatoes, asparagus and carrots, and the iceberg salad. We are definitely going back and letting our friends know about this gem. "

  • "This place makes me think the good old LA. Class. Good service and great food. Seriously why I have not heard of this place before. All the way thru from appetizer on the house to the salads, entrees and dessert it was amazing. We will return soon and as often as we are in the area I would not brave anywhere else within miles till you get to the coast honestly after going to the Manhattan. I didn't get the chance to speak to the owner when there but hit me up if you are interested in discussing some massive buzz building and audience building for this place. I would love to build your name in the current awareness outside of Orange. "

  • "We had never been before and we are so glad we went. I am recently in a wheel chair and they were very accommodating. The food was wonderful and the service was great. Old school atmosphere which my wife and I prefer in our 50's. We had surf and turf with the Lobster Tail. We have had a couple of those in the recent weeks and this was the best one yet. All other offered a mediocre lobster tail, this one was a little bigger and cooked very well. Completely satisfied."

  • "Meet with some friends for a combo birthday celebration. The feeling is upscale, the service is attentive and responsive. The food was just OK for prices, I ordered the Filet Mignon, it was cooked perfectly but was over salted to where that's all I tasted after the first bite. Overall the experience was very nice and will probably return again in the near future. "

Our waiter was very attentive and presented us with options if we wanted to substitute an item.   • "With a beautiful bar, friendly and attentive staff, and excellent food, the only thing that would make it better is if it had music! OH, YEAH, THEY DO!!! There is a wonderful group that plays often and can be heard from the dining room also. If it were closer to home, I be there once a week. Drinks are large and everything, from appetizers, salads and entrees that I've had has been delicious. It is well worth the trip and we are already planning when to return. "

  • "Looking for some seafood on a Friday night I found Manhattan on Open Table. A nice selection from seabass and salmon to a seafood tower. What's not to like? Started with a dozen fresh oysters on a half shell, nicely prepared with some wasabi as the kicker. Ask for cocktail sauce if you are a traditionalist like my husband. Lobster bisque soup and a mixed greens salad our seconmd course. The main event for my husband was a lobster mac and cheese. Lots of lobster and the right type of cheese to compliment it. I had the scallops served on rounds of polenta and my choice of fingerlings, wild rice or mashed potatoes. You have a choice to eat in a quiet dining room or near the jazz quartet in the lounge. Nice selection of wines and spirits."

  • "I have lived this place for years and Thursday night was no exception. Live jazz was going in the background and the bar area was full with people and groups. We arrived in time for an hour of happy hour so the martinis and appetizers were flowing. I would recommend the tacos and the sliders...delicious! We ended up sharing an entree (fillet mignon) and ordered a soufle for dessert and literally closed down the place. Definitely a 'must do again soon' place."

  • "First time to this place, like another review said, Mastro's is the place for steak. Reservation was in order and seated in not one of the best tables, a lot of high traffic. The decor was like my grandmother's dining room from the 1960's. The Prime was another story. Cooked to order (Rare) had trouble with the first cut, sinew in the meat. bland and flavorless. The cream spinach all cream with little spinach. Buttermilk mashed potatoes, also bland. Reminded me of the nursing home food where my parent is. But then again this appears to be a 60 + crowd so maybe that is how they like their food. The service was fair, lot of servers ignoring a empty wine glass. if you want prime Rib, Gulliver's is the bench mark for 45 years."

  • "For my birthday, I brought my daughter & 2 others none of which had yet been to MS&S. It didn't disappoint! Our waiter Bobby, provided the best service, attitude and personality I have ever experienced at few restaurants ever. We had the sea bass and while I wish that I hadn't been forced to eat the rice (upon which the fish was resting) to enjoy the beurre blanc sauce, it was an excellent dish. One of my partners had the filet, which he deemed 'perfect' & the otherm a little under the weather had the French onion soup. She loved it & said that it was just what she needed to feel better. I've dined here half a dozen times, but this was the most memorable, relaxing and delicious visit yet!!"

As we were leaving we noticed they had a band in the bar and the singer was very good. If we didn't already have plans to see a movie, e would have stayed and sat in the bar for drinks & dessert."

  • "everything was very nice, however when I called to make a 3:30 reservation I was told it was unavailable and would have to be 3:00. We arrived almost 20 min late due to my own bad directions, and the dining room was empty. I was scratching my head that I was told I couldn't have the 3:30 I had asked for. I thought they would be packed and that's why they couldn't give my request. There were only a few people in the bar and a group in a large room aside from the main dining. I would go there again in spite if this confusion."
