The food is amazing, you must try the samosas and lamb lollipops. If you are unsure on what to order, just tell your server and they are more than happy to put together a meal for you. Mango Shiva is definitely upscale Indian food, this is not your typical buffet-style Indian restaurant. Lights for evening dining. I thought with the lights bright during our dinner it was more a luncheon.
We arrived at 8:30 pm so if you were to dim them from 6 on after Happy Hour it would feel more like

Great lunch buffet. Thali plates were wonderful. Some great other entrees. I am a vegetarian but meat eaters who joined me were also pleased. Genuinely nice people who have figured out a great formula for offering excellent food. A bit pricey----but it is downtown in a section of expensive restaurants. So costs appropriate in context. My only complaint is the portion sizes. One of my favorite things about Indian cuisine is being able to order a few entrees and share family style with the table. There were 4 of us, we ordered 2 appetizers and 4 entrees expecting to be able to share. Half way through we had to place an order for a 5th entrée, we were all still hungry.
