Mango ShivaGreat food, but pricey!Took a group of my colleagues to Mango Shiva for the lunch buffet and the food was excellent. Everyone was impressed by the variety of dishes and the flavour. However, it's much more expensive than other Indian buffets. Don't order a drink, just stick to water... a pop is $4! Service was a bit slow. The food is amazing, you must try the samosas and lamb lollipops. If you are unsure on what to order, just tell your server and they are more than happy to put together a meal for you. Mango Shiva is definitely upscale Indian food, this is not your typical buffet-style Indian restaurant. We almost left and we are so glad we did not. The food was amazing! There was five of us sharing and that made it so great, because we got to try so many dishes. Loved them all! Pork vindaloo had great heat, the butter chicken was so yummy, the pakora starters excellent, the tandoori mint chicken so flavourful, and the lamb meatballs also delicious!

It's usually too greasy, too brightly coloured and dyed, and too heavy. My parents, who are more skeptical than me, suggested Mango Shiva.
What a delight! Great food, good use of Indian spice, variety in the flavor palette. The food was delicious because of skilled use of spices, and most importantly, the dishes were not dropping grease or made with heavy cream.. This is real indian food. Excellent service, beautiful decor.
All the lamb dishes are spectacular. The lamb Popsicles are divine.

We went on Saturday and are still talking about the seafood curry and coconut prawns and the tasty naan! Lights for evening dining. I thought with the lights bright during our dinner it was more a luncheon.
We arrived at 8:30 pm so if you were to dim them from 6 on after Happy Hour it would feel more like

Great lunch buffet. Thali plates were wonderful. Some great other entrees. I am a vegetarian but meat eaters who joined me were also pleased. Genuinely nice people who have figured out a great formula for offering excellent food. A bit pricey----but it is downtown in a section of expensive restaurants. So costs appropriate in context. One of my favorite things about Indian cuisine is being able to order a few entrees and share family style with the table. There were 4 of us, we ordered 2 appetizers and 4 entrees expecting to be able to share. Half way through we had to place an order for a 5th entrée, we were all still hungry.
