We loved the ambiance at Mangia Mangia, but, the dishes fell short. The cream sauces were bland. It would have taken just a bit of chili flakes, roasted garlic and lemon zest. Also, if the dish is described as a vegetable and prawn dish then have more than one floret of broccoli. The portions were substantial. The red pasta sauce was good and robust. The lamb shank was delicious! I will go back one more time(we have been there twice) to give them a chance. I love that it could be a neighborhood spot, but, we were the only ones there at 8:00. Two other parties walked in at 8:30....that was it. Great wait staff!

I had expected better food than I received. The menu was limited and the food was not especially tasty although it was well prepared in all other aspects. The wine list was extensive but the Pinot Grigio we ordered was more like a Chardonnay and not to our liking. Service was good although the waiter seemed to handle too many tables leading to minor delays. Probably not worth the cost so I'll be unlikely to return.

Mangia Mangia has a nice, unstuffy atmosphere. Not too noisy. We both ate pasta dishes, which I thought were great. Had to order a salad to get some veggies, though, which possibly made the pasta a little pricey. But the dish was yum, so I'll get over it. The music coming in over the speakers was a bit too loud near the seats at the back of the room but we were able to move a short distance away, and problem solved. The service was attentive. Liked that the restaurant website has a link to OT so I could make a reservation, and that a res for two was an option.
