Take friendslove Korean food! Take friends who have never experienced Korean food, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to offer people new to the cuisine advice. The food is great providing Koren mainstays like Bi Bim Bap (including Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap), Galbi, Bul Goki, Chap Chae, Kimchi, and of course Mandu!!! Nice drink selection too. The meat mandu (dumplings) are the best of the three varieties. Closest to mom's cooking. The brunch platter was full of authentic Korean food, with some gim bap (Korean maki), Korean omelet, zucchini pancakes, julienned fried potatoes (too oily and soggy, but that is kind of authentic), and spicy marinated chicken (choice of meat). I wanted to take them somewhere that was a bit more sophisticated than a pizza place or burger joint, but still somewhere that would be kid-friendly. This was a great choice! It has a simple, chic atmosphere, is not too noisy, and has enough variety on the menu that there is something for everyone. The food was yummy but seemed a little Westernized--I'm not sure it is very authentic Korean food, but I'm not that familiar with authentic Korean food, so I guess I'm not really qualified to make that call.
