Named after founder Alan Stillman's two New York State liquor license attorneys, Maloney & Porcelli is doing justice to American dining. The bustling, two-story midtown restaurant attracts a vibrant crowd and serves traditional American cuisine, with reinvented creatively. Classic dishes, such as… steaks and lobsters, are offered alongside interesting menu options like the Crackling Pork Shank with Firecracker Apple Sauce (named the #1 dish in America by USA Today), Thin-Crusted Robiola Pizza, and Angry Lobster. "This is a really lovely restaurant which deserves a repeat visit. My oysters were outstanding and reasonably-priced, from an excellent selection. I noticed appealing-looking broiled lobsters and veal chops going by. Our steaks were good, but not great, but the lobster bisque was exceptional, as was the half-bottle wine selection which allowed us to try two great wines."

"My wife and I ate here for our last evening in NYC. We chose the Prix Fixe, which included an appetizer, entree, dessert, and unlimited wine pours for only 75 bucks. It was a great deal. I thoroughly enjoyed my Sea Scallop, and Ribeye. The unlimited wine made for a fun evening. It was truely our favorite evening-out in the city."

"It was our anniversary and they graciously sent over a cocktail. The service was attentive and helpful. The food was excellent and the service and ambiance was much more like a fine restaurant than a Steak House atmosphere."

"Salmon was completely undercooked even though I ordered it medium. Service tried too hard to push us to order other things. I ordered tap water nd my associate ordered bottle water. They took my water away. I didn't want bottled water. Overall, an expensive lunch. Bread was delicious."
