I took my mother and wife to dine at Mallorca for Mother's Day. The Chilean Sea Bass and Seafood Casserole were OUTSTANDING. I must say, the portions were large, cooked to perfection and extremely flavorful. I must make it a point to go there more often. I would consider the food pricey anywhere else, but with the large portion size, perfect preparation and amazing taste, the price was fair. In reality, we had the leftovers the next day for lunch, so the price could be considered for 2 meals, not one. We sat on the patio at a beautifully decorated table. The service was exceptional and the staff is very attentive. The Sangria is to die for. There are so many specials that the menu basically doubles in size. The food was amazing and the gazpacho was wonderful. The staff brought tiramisu with a candle and sang happy birthday (without even being asked). The food was outstanding. I highly recommend getting seafood here. We had the pork tenderloin, blackened tuna, chicken and stuffed tilapia. Everyone thought their meal was the best except the one with chicken. I got the stuffed tilapia and it was the best I have ever had! Absolutely delicious! They serve a huge salad before entree and 3 sides of rice, homemade chips, and steamed veggies family style. It was a little loud because there was a large group next to us but it wasn't a big deal. Our server was great! Energetic and we never felt rushed with any course. We told the girl "yes" when asked if we wanted a doggie bag. She packed only the meat portions of the entree. No saffron rice, veggies or chips. I failed to check before getting home later. I ordered the paella, that was so full of seafood that i ended up getting two additional meals out of it; as did my companion, who ordered a pork dish. I had the grouper special stuffed with shrimp/scallops and mascarpone cheese, this was my first time trying grouper and a very large portion with 2 filets rolled and baked with stuffing was great, fish was buttery tender and paired well with spanish rice and veggies...a glass of sangria, appetizers of calamari and octopus were spot on.
