The diners' reviews that I had read said that it was so much better than the other restaurants on 6th St. -- well, that wouldn't take much. But I did think the food was very good -- reminiscent of what 6th St. was like decades ago. My husband had the fish curry, which he loved.I had the lamb skewers, which I described to my husband as really good street food. Actually, it meant it as a complement . The only thing that disappointed me was the paneer, which The Times' reviewer raved about. Service was sweet and prompt -- of course, we went at 5:30 because we were afraid of the crowds (after the Times review); I can't vouch for later. Food was excellent and the kitchen was not afraid of making things quite spicy. Service was fine, although one of us didn't have a proper chair. Otherwise, everything was great.
