Entertainment: Experience downtown Kansas City's hottest live entertainment venue, The KC LIVE! Block, from the comfort and relaxation of the Maker's Mark patio. Every Friday night from 10pm-1am, Jayson Kane entertains us with his one man band show. He takes requests and entertains the crowd with his eclectic song choices and witty banter. We heat things up on Saturday night from 10pm-2am with our in house DJ spinning a mix of acid jazz and other eclectic sounds.

Parking Details: Valet and Garage parking available. Valet begins each evening at 6pm and vehicles can be claimed as late as 3am. Live! Block parking garage located on 13th Street between Grand and Walnut. Parking is $2 with validation. "The waitress was super friendly! We come there for the Bourbon selection, in particular the George T Stagg. When we found out the cask was dry, she immediatly had a great suggestion or two to help us fill the void! She was super nice and friendly and was a great addition to the staff. She even let us know about upcoming events we had no idea about so we could attend and invite our like minded Bourbon drinkers. Great customer service and food as always!"

"I had included a little note in my reservation that it was our 4 year anniversary. The manager brought out 2 glasses of champagne for us. I thought it was very thoughtful. Service was great. It was a little loud as they had it open to the outside but definitely brought in the energy."

"This was our first time dining in the Power & Light district. I must say we were pleasantly surprised. There is ample underground parking adjacent to the restaurant and it is only $2 after 5 PM. We had crab cakes and calamari as appetizers. They were wonderful and good sized portions too. My wife had the pork porterhouse which they had just added to their menu. It was tender and done to perfection. I had the 14oz strip which I could cut with a butter knife. They make their own bourbon steak sauce which was great! Not overpowering. My son had the 3 course dinner with wine paring. It was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and personable. Service was timely. One of the chefs brought our food which I thought was a nice touch."
