HIGHLY recommend! I love small restaurants like this where a chef obviously takes pride in their restaurant and creates excellent dishes. They have a small menu because of their focus on farm-to-table in-season cooking, but everything I have ever had here was superb. Seating is also small and you sit closely to everyone else, so depending on your ability to tune others out you may be bothered by that a bit; my wife does not mind at all and always requests that I take her back. The menu is short and eclectic and the food was very good. We shared appetizer specials, stuffed peppers and the other was nicely sauced large shrimp. Everyone goes out of his/her way to create a special dining experience for you. We dined here a few days ago (4/6/2013) because I wanted to be sure I had one of the dishes on the “Winter” menu and I was afraid that it soon would be gone. Now, my opinoin is just that. I eat out often and am attracted to French/Italian cooking styles. Maison speaks to the Intalian coutry cooking that is my favorite. Every flavor is perfectly layered. Don’t go here if you are looking for a themed-dining experience with epic-sized portions. Our group of 4 shared some wonderful appetizers & desserts. For entrees, my husband had the Rosemary Rabbit Ragu and I had the Beef Cheeks. The "cheeks" were slow-cooked in a delicious mushroom sauce and they melted in my mouth. The restaurant is located in a small old renovated building. Space is tight and it can be a bit noisy when crowded but we found it really charming, quaint, and special. From the warm decor to the absolutely mouth watering appetizer and wonderful entree, Maison impressed. Our waiter was
attentive and described each dish we questioned in detail and when we asked for a suggestion he did not disappoint. Maison
