"We went for the special Brunch on Easter Sunday. The buffet served was only okay at best. The lamb was very fatty. The beef Burgoyne was tough from sitting in a hot dish for so long. All-in-all we were very disappointed in this otherwise fine dining establishment."

"Service was so so. Had to request for more water, waited a while for the service. The bill was overcharge, add extra charge for an entree that was not ordered, didn't find out until later in the evening. Called in to request for recalculation, and the bill was adjusted."

"We had the fixed Epicurean $68 menu and it was excellent! I heard good thing about this place and saw a clip on CA restaurants and they lived up to their reviews. Definately, a place to savory and take your time enjoying the meal as it is an experience. Very romantic setting but also a place to be able to enjoy your company and hear the conversation. Wait service was always checking in or clearing the tables. We will be back!"

"This was my third visit to Maison Akira. We had a reservation and arrived a few minutes early. We had to wait 25 minutes for our table. The food was disappointing. I could have done a better job at home. Nothing wowed me. I won't be rushing back anytime soon."

"I was looking for a special place to celebrate a friend's big job promotion and this worked to perfection. We were seated promptly and given excellent service the entire evening. The wine list, while not extensive, certainly covered the bases, ranging from moderate to expensive, and all good choices for the unique menu. My guest had Chilean Sea Bass, which was prepared to perfection, while I enjoyed the Mediterranean Sea Bass, crispier and thinner, along with wasabe mashed potatoes and Asian vegetables. The complimentary pork belly appetizer got things off to a great start, along with the soup of the day and a great salad. The flourless orange cake and ice cream, shared, closed the meal, making it an enjoyable experience all around."
