I had my birthday dinner here. We had a $35 prix fixe, which was a tremendous amount of food, and the food ranged from decent to delicious. The fresh hot bread was excellent. The waitress was extremely informal, which I didn't mind at all. But she didn't know much about the food. She told us the meatballs were "cow" but they were lamb. She wasn't clear about what appetizers we were getting. She described the one vegetarian option, a vegetable casserole, as like a soup, had no idea what was in it, and just said it wasn't so good. The rest of the staff was good and more professional and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience, but one that often left us bewildered.

The food was absolutely delicious , the menu and wine choices were vast. We are not usually foodies but we just kept ordering and one dish was better than the other. The owner was pleasant friendly and helpful with suggestions. The chef made everything fresh with just the right amount of spices. We look forward to returning.

Unable to get into Peter Lugars for dinner on a Friday night hit the impenetrable site to look for a spot to have a late dinner. Madsen Grill came up and the group having previously enjoyed Mediterranean food said let's give it a try. So on an unexpected warm October evening we had a wonderful outdoor dinner at Mahzen Grill. Great wine, great food served by a wonderfully friendly waitress. Would goo back again without a doubt.

We were with our daughter and her friend looking for a nice place with good food but not too expensive. Mahzen fit perfectly. They have wonderful Turkish dishes that were great to share without breaking our budget. Everything was very flavorful and spiced the way you expect it. We will definitely go back again.

Definitely a strong option in the neighborhood, and it has gluten-free options. Lamb and salmon were great.
