However, it was crazy busy. You would have thought that it was 7pm on a Friday night.
That being said, our table was ready for us, and the food was fabulous as always. Our server was obviously flustered - it seemed like he was dealing with 100 different things and we were only one of them. I think he did a fair job with all that he had on his plate, but it seemed like he mightve been asked to do to much.
I will eat here again - did I mention that the food was amazing? There were 10 people in my party so I was sure to make reservations in advance. We had to wait about 10 minutes before we were seated, which wasn't a huge deal. The only issue I had was that the dining area was very crowded. While I appreciate the restaurant's attempt to accommodate as many guests as possible, having tables back to back made it bit uncomfortable. Our chairs were essentially squished right next to one another and the neighboring table. Other than that, the food and the atmosphere was amazing! We chose family style dining due to our large group and we weren't the least bit disappointed. While my gnocchi dish arrived lukewarm, it was corrected professionally with a manager on top of it. The replacement was excellent. Our wine selection was spot on and my gf's veal marsala was also excellent. We refused their offer of a 'free' dessert but shared a slice of tiramisu at our expense. I rate the noise level as mild because we were in a small area overlooking West End. The rest of the place is fairly loud. So my score reflects the bad, the rest of the meal and their handling of it. I'll give them a third try.
