We had a special occasion dinner to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We decided to order "family style," which, for a flat price per person, we picked different items from the appetizers, entrees and desserts. For appetizers, the adults loved the stuffed mushrooms; the kids preferred the marinara mozzarella which is made from large slabs of mozzarella fried and drizzled with marinara. Our selection of pastas (alfredo - light and delicious; Rigatoni "D" which we always get because it is always so delicious) and chicken and fish was fantastic. We drive 65miles one way just to eat there. We would eat there more often if there was one closer to us but I guess that's better for our waist lines. I'm 100% Italian heritage and I really like the sauce and all the items on the menu. We chose the family style meal for our party of four adults and one child. It was the perfect combination and quantity of food. The noise level was at times really high, but that was due to other tables around ours that were celebrating birthdays. It's a fun atmosphere though, and we didn't mind the noise. Totally child friendly as well. My husband had the soup and the crispy French onion rings for an appetizer. My husband had the lasagna (again) and I had the eggplant parm. We both enjoyed our entrees and some fresh bread. (Wish they would add some spices and herbs to the oil available for bread dipping.) To top it off, we could take home a classic pasta dish each. So, we both took home lasagna.
