While trying to get to our table for 11, I tripped over a chair from another table. The tables are way too close together and cramped. If you go, request a booth or a table on the outside. At least there will be some room to move around.
The food was excellent and our server went above and beyond too. I had a drink spill due to everything all cramped on the table and luckily she was there to stop it from pouring on my lap.

The menu offers some favorite Italian masterpieces, the chicken dishes being some of the best that I've tasted. It's definitely a family favorite. They recently added flatbreads for appetizers yum! - and keep the regulars happy. Our family has had Thanksgiving dinner here for 4 years, because the family style menu is such a good deal for our small family, with plenty of leftovers. The delightful dishes are very generous portions at all times of the year, which makes it a great deal if you want left-overs for the next day (they also have a deal where you can get one of their pastas and the chef gives you a whole portion to go! We chose the meal for two. It includes an appetizer (huge), two classic pastas (had to take half home, huge), and a dessert (you guessed it, huge). Then they give you two more classic pasta dishes to go! My wife got the ravioli mushroom al forno, excellent. I got the spaghetti and meatballs which was good. We took home Alfredo and ziti, both very good. Appetizer was stuffed mushrooms which were outstanding. Bring your appetite. All for $39.99 but we also had a $10.00 coupon for our anniversary (sign up for email) so the bill came to $29.99 plus tax/tip. Waiter was ok but was stretched too thin working several other tables and not having any support. The staff is friendly, the service is professional and the menu is varied, well prepared & generous. It is only place I've found in Jacksonville where I can order a dry Rob Roy on the rock with a twist and actual have the cocktail prepared correctly. The twist is just that, not a lemon wedge, no plup, only the zest. What a refreshing change from almost every other restaurant I enter, where the the bar staff can't mix anything beyond a wine spritzer. They accomodated my group of 10 and were very conscious of our time sensitivity to get to my daughter's graduation. Our server was very attentive and considerate. We did the family style and the food was delicious with plenty left over to take home. The only thing that I would change is the flatbread pizza on the kids' menu which my niece thought it was a regular pizza as kids typically don't know what flatbread style is or like it those types of foods. Would not normally think about eating a sald with goat cheese and spinich, but it was very good. Loved the sweet dressing that was on it. Lots of food. We had the meal for two pasta and pick a different meal to take home. So we had salad, main course, and dessert and a free meal each to take home for less than 50.00 dollars. Checked Open Table and got it! This restaurant was so prepared for the onslaught of this day. We had two young children and 6 adults they seated at a large round table, wow! Meal is always good and service was amazing considering the crowd. Much better than I expected based on previous year's at other restaurants. The family style dinner is the way to go if you have a large party and like to try a variety of foods at a great price. If you go, you must ask to sit in Rafael’s section!
