The only complaint would be that no one escorted us to our table, instead simply pointing and basically saying, "it's over there". The food was amazing and our waiter was an absolute gem. He took care of all our needs, and then some. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered amazing suggestions (which we all took). I wanted to take my girl friend to a special place on her special day. So I pick Maggiano's at Hackensack.
It was an easy commute from N.Y.C. The food was delicious,the service was great, and the prices affable.
The atmosphere was kind-friendly and very romantic. My girl friend loved it.
Great place for a family dinner. I will recommend Maggiano's to everyone.

The option for choosing "family style" dining is terrific; It works well for families, plus it's fun to select the choices. The food was very good -- but noticeably salty. I didn't remember that from our prior visit (two years ago). The salmon selection was a little dry. Food is one of the reasons, but another, more important one, is the help--specifically Jeff the manager. Watching him watching everything going on in this very large restaurant, is a joy. He happily (and competently) resolves any issues that arise, sees that everyone has a friendly greeting and, in our case, always stops by and chats for a bit. Yes I could go on and on about the food--it's freshly prepared, delicious, etc., etc., but it is the staff that brings it to us and this one has a very special person at the helm.
