Maggiano's - CumberlandFather's Day DinnerWe took our extended family here for dinner in honor of Father's Day. We were a party of nine with two young children. The staff was super friendly and understanding, especially considering I arrived 45 minutes late for our reservation due to a combination of traffic and children issues. We did the family style menu and everything was excellent! For those who like chicken, they have some great dishes. Our server was less than attentive; it took a while to get drink refills, and even longer to wait for her to return to give us the check and ask for to-go boxes. Another server came by and asked if we needed help -- and packed up our leftovers -- but it should have been done by our original server. Refills on beverages and the yummy lemon cookies were quite unexpected and made it a fun night.

We are originally from Chicago and know what a good Italian Beef should taste like. Maggianos does a great job in putting together a beef sandwich using toasted Focaccia Bread and very lean beef. The food was excellent and Christian, our server helped make our dinner a memorable one. The Riggatoni D and glazed Salmon were flavorful and Christian anticipated our needs and checked to make sure we were pleased with everything. Tim, the manager is warm and welcoming, as is his staff. The dessert tray was spectacular and we got to try different desserts of our choosing. This was truly a remarkable dinner and we will continue to celebrate special occasions at Maggiano's. We decided to go more often because the food and service are so excellent.

I made reservations for 3pm , we got there at 2:55pm by passed the rest of the crowd that was waiting and was in our seats at 3:05..

My wife made all the arrangements through the on-line reservations and even ordered flowers. My mom was in tears when they brought her the flowers. Yes it was a very busy day and things were a little slow, BUT that wasn't any problem for us. When you go out on a special day you have to expect a little back-up. Waiter Eric was a blast to have served us. I think we made his day a little easier also. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience for us.

Our waiter came 10 minutes later, we ordered on his first visit. This was at about 3:15, our food didn't arrive until 3:55. For those who are counting that's 40 minutes. During these 40 minutes our waiter came by once to tell us our food was on the way. We enjoyed the very good wines in the mean time. Finally the food came and all of it was delicious except for my veal which was tough as nails. I had never had tough veal. made reservations on open table about a week in advance with no problems...tried to add one person to our reservation the day before and the website only offered tables hours away from our original reservation...called the restaurant the morning of and was told the same...but when we got there they offered us a bigger table almost immediately...
as i said, the food was great, always is...
this time however our waiter was less than stellar...maybe if he had concentrated on getting our orders correct and spent less time on smart a** comments whenever he visited us ....had mistakes in our appetizers, drinks and our to go boxes....

Recommend that you get reservations as it could be crowded. A friend recommended Rigatoni D and it was good, more food than I expected. My wife wanted calamari and it was delivered within about 5-10 minutes, really fast and hot. Our Server was very nice and cordial, checked on us constantly. All in all, I enjoyed myself and would go to this restaurant again if it was just a night out. Would probably look to go elsewhere or ask management if they had a more secluded table if it was a date night. My reservation was for 6 PM and we were done with dinner and leaving the restaurant by 6:45 PM.
