Solid food. Good prices. Great service. Strange ambiance. Feels like a fancy retirement home dining room, that could morph into either a dark neighborhood tavern or a really nice place at any moment. Which will it be?

We arrived at the restaurant and literally stood around for 20 minutes before anyone greeted us and tried to seat us. Then once we were contacted, we said we had reservation ( 20 min ago!) and we're questioned on when we made them. I felt like they didn't care at all about customer service. I had to bring up my open table reservation on my phone and explain I made it five days prior. Even still, they seated another party (without a reservation) first. The menu is affordable but food is just p okay. To make up for the wait, they comped just one drink (we had five drinks at our table) and picked my friend's to comp even though I made the reservation. The restaurant is in a neat building, but that's all it has going for it. I'll never go back.

  • Quiet Saturday brunch!

I've been here several times before, and usually for Sunday brunch the place is packed wall to wall. Not so on Saturday, where the place was dead. Our server was really nice, though it appeared she was the only one on shift so service was a teeny bit slow, but not bad. Food, as always, was stupendous. Get the spicy Bloody Mary. Trust me. Worth it.

As other reviews say, the servers here are really overextended, and although they are very nice and try to be helpful service is slow. Some good food for brunch, including huevos rancheros, but smoked salmon benedict dry and uninspired. I was disappointed.

we asked for a table for eight. Only six of us showed up. the area used for large groups is upstairs. Our group included a diner with mobility and health problems that keeps her from going up a full set of stairs. they were very accommodating and quickly prepared a small table next to one of their booths that seated us all very nicely. great meal, generous portions, great service.

They were very accomodating to our large group which grew by a couple at the last minute. The food was very good, which is not easy with a large group and the server very friendly. Unfortunately, they lost half of our initial food order so some of our food was late or it would have been a perfect breakfast.

  • More Like a Neighborhood Bar
    OpenTable Diner Since 2013
    Dined on 2/14/2013
It is a small place, ok food, nice and competent wait staff; we could tell that the chef was competent. But it seemed a little more like a neighborhood bar turned restaurant. The booths seemed old and the door was too close to our table so the room stayed a little chilly. They had a special for the evening which was inventive, not outright bold, but it was good food. All in all, the meal, service, and ambiance fit the price but it would take a weird mood for me to return.

Great food but horrible service. Took 20 minutes for them to take our order and then another 35 minutes before the food arrived. We were there 40 minutes before we were able to get water refills. I was given the wrong tea and we never got the toast that was supposed to come with our brunch. Plus, despite the fact that we had reservations, we were seated upstairs in the banquet room next to two large noisy groups. We were essentially forgotten about up there.

We had a fantastic brunch! The eggs benedict were tasty, eggs poached perfectly. A friend had the Grande Eggs Benedict, and they loved the bacon, avacado twist to this classic breakfast. The almost bottomless mimosas are a bonus if your up for a relaxed morning! Can't wait to go again!! Yum

  • Decent but not great
    OpenTable Diner Since 2012
    Dined on 9/9/2012
We have been there lots of times in the past, especially, for brunch. We had a group meeting this past time. The music was way too loud and we had asked several times for it to be turned down, but it never happened. Our waitress was great but changed tables shortly after our food was served. Our new waitress did her best to kick us out the door, even though there were tables available and no one waiting. It was a less than stellar experience. We still will come back for the convenience of it, but did not have a great time this past time.
