We really enjoyed the team-oriented service--we were never left sitting on our hands. Wings are excellent (but pricey), frickles excellent, pretzel is ok (better at Cap City or Glory Days). Excellent IPA went well with an outstanding burger, well-cooked burger with a tasty bun. When you take the time to make your own breads, ketchups, ground meats, and make it taste good, then you are way beyond your competitors. There are no competitors for Mad Fox in the area. The beer was good with a verity, I will have to go back to try more. Atmosphere was enjoyable and weather permitting outside dinning available. Our waiter was very friendly, informative, and checked up on us frequently which was great. The food was SO good but very filling after a beer or two. The only thing I was disappointed in was their brewed beer. I came here for the beer not the food but the food ended up being incredibly good and the beer not so much. I sampled everything they had to offer and wasn't happy with anything to where i wanted a full glass of it but I did get the American Pale Ale and ended up only drinking a quarter of it. Right off the bat, I was happy with the service when our host was seating us and offered a table in the bar area away from the busier dining room. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu, and had good recommendations for the beer selection. On top of that, the food was very good.
