A word from MacCallum House
Everything about the MacCallum House Restaurant and Grey Whale Bar & Café is warm and inviting, from the sunny wrap-around porch to the convivial bar and romantic fire lit dining rooms. Combining the town's charm, history, local life and flavors into one tasty package, the "Mac" is a great starting point for getting to know Mendocino. An exceptional staff makes you feel as if you've been invited over to dinner by friends. In the restaurant dinners are served in the former library, graced by two river-stone fireplaces, candles and garden flowers on the tables or, informally, in the sunporch café. All food is prepared to order with an emphasis on the use of sustainable meats and seafood along with organic produce to create delicious fresh cuisine. The food is complimented by an extensive wine list featuring local and regional bottles at reasonable prices. There is a full bar and innovative cocktail list with seasonal cocktails and creative concoctions.Continued
