The service was wonderful and the food was great. My husband really loved the service, the drinks always flows. I had the birthday song sung live by the band while the cake was served. It was nice and personal. We would totally come back again with friends.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AM1st Mother's Day BrunchI celebrated my first Mother's Day at M Street Bar & Grill for brunch. The brunch menu had a wide variety of food and was reasonably priced. The bottomless Mimosas were wonderful! My champagne flute never got less than half empty because the waiter always refreshed it. I would definitely attend brunch again.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Brunch Spot in DCThis is an amazing place for weekend brunch. Not only is the prixe fix menu, which includes bottomless mimosas, very reasonable at $24, but the service is amazing! I always feel lucky to sit in Isack's section because he just might be the best server in DC!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMdinner 15 peopleThe food was amazing and they were very accommodating to my group. My only issue was that although our server was extremely polite and offered great recommendations, the service was slow and it took a long time to get menus, food, drinks, dessert, and the check. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely go back.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat great greatFrom out of town and was rendered here by a friend. Excellent time, everything was superb.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMvery friendly staff, eclecticvery friendly staff, eclectic menu, nice bar...made for a great evening4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMSunday Jazz Brunch as bestSunday Jazz Brunch as best brunch I've been to in DC, they were super accommodating (members of our group arrived late + we had to add an extra chair to the table, all with no fuss), the food was delicious (get the jambalaya), and our mimosas never went empty. Will definitely be going back!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceI reserved a table for 18 people. We got there early and they let us sit down. Unfortunatly a lot of my group fell through and only 10 people showed up and the staff was SO nice about it. They didnt put up a fuss at all and said it was completely fine. The food was good and service was VERY fast, the drinks were expensive but pretty strong. One thing to watch out for -- they could not do seperate checks. I'm not sure if thats just for big parties but definitely bring cash just in case! It was on the bottom of a beautiful hotel so it was a classy place. They brought out a FREE dessert and FREE Gray Goose shot for my boyfriends birthday! Very wonderful staff4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMYummy Jazz BrunchIt is always a joy and a pleasure to visit MStreet Bar bar an grill. I always enjoy the hostess and our server was pleasant an attentive.I enjoyed the jazz soloist. Pleas continue to have the jazz brunch! The price was fantastic and the unlimited mimosas were the icing on the cake.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThe only real problem I hadThe only real problem I had was with the food. The taste is fine, but was much more caloric than one would've guessed. I have diabetes and took what should have been enough insulin to cover my meal. As it turned out I needed almost double that amount, which means that although the food didn't seem very caloric in reality it had an amazing amount of calories. Most people don't have the clear measure that I do with insulin. I don't know what they're adding to the food, but what appeared to be reasonable well-balanced lunch was about as caloric as if I had gone to McDonald's.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Easter Sunday Brunch!Had the family for Brunch and it was great. We all had a great time all 14 of us!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMReally appreciated how weReally appreciated how we were accommodated spur of the moment for dinner the night before. The staff was very nice and accommodating and even gave us a private room. The food was good and mimosas were great!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my first time atThis was my first time at the restaurant and we ended up getting caught up in conversation by the bar instead of sitting down at 7 for our reservation. Our waiter Russell was great though. He was very accommodating, informative and nice. I feel like perhaps this place doesn't receive the capacity or acknowledgement it deserves for being attached to a hotel but it's definitely one of DC's "hidden" gems and I will definitely be returning. Thanks M Street Bar and Grill for a great experience!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMBest kept secret. What a pleasant experience, so nice to be able to hear the people you're dining with. Really great decor and ambiance - not trendy but contemporary classic. No clamoring crowds screaming at each other across the table. This is a restaurant for civilized people. Very good food at reasonable prices. Waiters, hosts, and managers were all really friendly. I had short ribs and they were tender and delicious on a bed of mashed potatoes. The waiter had excellent wine suggestions. Dessert was sinfully delicious. This my new go-to place for a romantic date. Quiet, classy, impressive.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my second time havingThis was my second time having brunch here and it was still a great time. My only complaint was that I had to take a late reservation for brunch and then I felt like the service was rushed to get orders.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was amazing and theThe food was amazing and the drinks were delicious.
