I like the ambience , it is wood and stained glass and nice big booths. However the food has become disappointing.
I ordered the Almond crusted trout- the pieces of almonds were, too thick, big and chewy. And I only received 1/2 the trout - very ungenerous for $20- There was barely any fish.
Then we splurged for dessert: Marion berry pie, how we could go wrong? The crust was white, uncooked like frozen cardboard pie.
We should have sent it back but the ice cream on top was delicious.
This was supposed to be a treat for a birthday.

They also have good meals. The lobster bisque was perfectly seasoned with plenty of lobster, their spring salad with strawberries was a tasty alternative to your every-day salad. Their fresh fish with risotto was very tasty and filling. This is a great place for good seafood and their menu now contains a special lunch menu. Our table location in the side room was perfect- quiet enough to talk, outside of the bustling main dining area. Their staff are very friendly and they keep their establishment very clean. I like to go with a group of friends on the weekend or when I want to take my wife out on a date. We love going on St. Patrick's day because of the opportunity to have a great dinner and listen to the live music (bagpipes).
