My wife and I had dinner at the M&S Grill on Veterans Day 2014. They had a special menu for the veterans with an excellent selection. The entree was free for veterans. This was about a $23 value. The food was great and the service excellent. I highly recommend it and plan to return on other occasions.

The restaurant was fine and I'm sure if it wasn't busy it would have been better. We went on a Sunday, so the football team was in town and they were sponsoring Veterans Day dinner too. The hostess was not very nice at all and down right rude. That's why our opentable reservation was probably not used, she really didn't have any time for whomever walked in the door. After being taken to our table, the server finally came after waiting ~10 minutes. When we got our drinks, it was another 10-15 minutes before we could order. Our server apologized and kept us informed on how our order was going. If not for the first impression at the door and it being so busy, this would be a nice place for lunch I believe.

One Tilapia fillet (smaller) cooked well, but the second fillet (larger) was undercooked. This was brought up to the server and they replaced the undercooked fillet which was great. However, in a quality restaurant like this it never should have happened.

Food was fantastic! Teddy & Jason took great care of us. Once we were seated everything was phenomenal! However, the reservation process and the length of time to get seated was not acceptable at all. I was on McCormick & Smicks website to place reservations. I never did go to the M&S Grille reservations.........so I can only surmise that the switch was made on your end and I didn't realize it. So we went to McCormick & Smicks and were informed that our reservations were at M&S Grille. McCormick called ahead to M&S and told them we'd be 10 minutes late. We got to M&S 15 mintutes late and had to wait another 20 minutes to get seated. People coming in the door were getting seated before us and we had reservations and M&S knew we

Perfect for young adults and co-workers night out. Bring a BIG purse its a little pricey! Be careful when you google I was searching for the closest one not realizing the different types of the same restaurant; grill, pub, etc. (my mistake) I was looking for an upscale, fine dining place for couples and although the Grill wasn't bad it didn't fit my night.

I was pleasantly surprised when we had lunch there this past Friday. I would have not chosen M&S grill, however my customer made the suggestion. We were at first seated near the rear by an opened door on a quite cool day. Our server Mark gave is a new table and was extremely professional and cordial in doing so. Mark made our experience a great one, he gave us helpful descriptions, good suggestions and accommodated my customers requests. The calamari was cooked to perfection, and the crab corn chowder is the best I ever tasted. It was very productive lunch meeting we enjoyed the good and my customers thanked me. We all agreed that the dining experience was greatly enhanced by the OUTSTANDING service Mark provided.

We were in Baltimore for the Orioles playoff game and totally forgot about making a dinner reservation. Open Table came through for us with a reservation for us at M & S Grill. It's right in the Inner Harbor and that is a very touristy location. Upon arrival the hostess seemed distracted and a little confused but she sat us promptly. Our service was knowledge and attentive and the food was very good. Quiet a noisy place as the night went on but on the whole it was a very pleasing experience.

After being seated by an attractive young server who never failed to be caring and attentive, our hopes were high. They were dashed however when the dishes came. An entree of parmesan-encrusted flounder was both greasy and soggy; a "Kobe" burger was dry and overcooked, and house salad ordered without pepper was laced with it. Crabcakes were also overdone. Hoping to at least walk out with a sweet taste, a dessert mixed-berry popover had little crust or fruit and was composed mainly of a sugary syrup. The good things were a slightly mild Caesar salad, ungreasy French fries, and generous bar drinks. The place was busy but not overcrowded. Capuccinos were fair but large. They took the flounder off the check but we would not go back.

Group of 8 on a Wednesday night. Server was friendly, but service was extremely slow (which we did not understand, since the restaurant was only about half full). At several points in the meal, we were looking for the server but he was no where in sight. Food & drinks were good, particularly the fish dishes. Not bad overall, but based on the service and the fact there are lots of options around Inner Harbor, I will not be in a rush to return here for another outing.

We had a nice, round table, good warm bread & cinn butter, and 3 of the 6 diners liked their entrees. Two asked for more dressing for their salads & it only came after several reminders; my salad was lettuce with dressing, not the salad described. The dinners came right away, and they said they could not keep them warm because of 2 other large parties. Huh? My parm crusted flounder was fishy, the trout tasteless and the tilapia fair. One person's drink never came. It was our waiter's 2nd night. He was struggling & got no back-up. The mgr came once but never came back. When things go wrong for a new server, they need to help him. They took off the salads and two of the entrees (minimum) & didn't even offer desserts or coffee on the house.

Felt like I was in a fast food restaurant, our entrees were served before we were half way finished our soup. The shrimp that I had were not cooked properly, almost raw, and because the entrees were served prematurely they were cold when we ate them. Bar service was slow and it took 15 minutes to get our desserts. Very disappointing. Also the restaurant is quite loud.

We recently traveled to Baltimore with a group of six and found out that they were having a weekend celebration for the 200th anniversary of the Star-Spangled Banner. We wanted to eat near the festivities and arrived 40 mins early for our reservation, however, we were seated immediately and outside! Our server was very attentive, regardless of the busy atmosphere and loud music from the festival. A few people in our group were being rather picky and specific and our server did his best to accommodate them. Our food was delicious and we really enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere and had a really nice night. We never felt rushed to leave and spent almost 2 hours at the restaurant and had a great time!

We went to try out some good fresh fish. I got one of the grill plates which was about $30. When I got it the portion sizes were smaller than expected. I started to eat my salmon which tasted very good, only to realize that as I started to eat it, it was almost completely raw! Our server was very honest and agreed it shouldn't be like that. Apparently management had a hard time understanding that. They comped us a dessert and that's it, the manager didn't even come over to talk to us. Needless to say we won't go back

I have eaten here many times. The food is generally quite good. Service, however, has always been an issue. My Open Table reservation was not acknowledged, which resulted in an inquiry about an alleged no-show. This visit, no water was offered and we needed to ask. The waitress poured a bottle of wine as if it were a beer; clearly, she had no training. Pacing of service was poor with entrees coming before salads were done and no offer to take them back. No offer of dessert or coffee. I'll be back for the food, but please get some better help.

I've been to M&S Grille before so was somewhat disappointed with our latest experience. It was warm in the restaurant and my husband's beer came out warm. Our appetizer took forever and we had to ask for bread and that also took forever. The manager did come talk to us after we'd been waiting an hour for our app, bread, and beer and she did take the beer and app off of our bill. However, even after the manager came over our entrees took another 25 minutes to come out. I ordered the scallops (because they ran out of trout), which was just okay. Overall, nothing to write home about though I still enjoyed the evening with my husband.

Have eaten here many times and food is consistently good. We were seated promptly with our Open Table reservation for 6 people, which was good. However, the service staff, while friendly and apologetic, was clearly unprepared for the volume of guests. This was the weekend of Otakon AND an Orioles game. The place was loud and crowded...and it was a LONG meal. Thankfully, we were not in a hurry, but closer cooperation among wait staff and better supervision could have gone a long way to making sure things kept moving if a server got overwhelmed.

I heard Good Things About the Restaurant so decided to try it out. I ordered the Seafood Platter adding a Crab Cake. It took over 20mins for my food to come then it had no taste like the chef forgot how to use salt and pepper. What happen to that so called Old Bay Seasoning, guess they ran out that night. I wont be visiting this Place ever again, a waste of my $140.00

Party of 7 ate lunch and we all agreed the food was good. From the burgers to sandwiches to appetizers we enjoyed all of them. The service was sub-par. We were forced to wait when the dinning room was empty. Only after approaching the stewardess about the situation did she seat us. A big pet-peeve is when the waitress is too lazy to walk around the table to collect dirty dishes and instead asks us to do her job. If there was no room, I would understand. Of course there is the air-conditioner problem, but that is more of the building that the restaurant is in than the restaurant. So be prepared to be hot in the summer.
