"My wife and I spent our 6th anniversary here and enjoyed it very much. The old saying "you get what you pay for" sums this place up. If you don't mind paying a few extra dollars for great food then this is the place for you. I would highly recommend it to anyone celebrating a special occasion. The steaks melted in your mouth and the lobster was devine!"

"Had a business lunch here. I had a seafood salad. Everyone else had the fish special. Lynn's is really the only decent high end restaurant on the Far West side of Houston other than Brenner's and Lynnks food is better. Waiter was annoying butting in frequently to ask if everything was ok and asking if I wanted more water. He shouldn't do that. Maybe Lynn could train them from time to time to just observe the table, fill glasses twice during the meal and be quiet. Food is always good here, expensive but fair considering the quality. Dining room is small so it can get loud. Frequent lunch place for engineers from local oil companies so dress is casual. Lynn should bring in a guest chef sometime and change up the menu a bit."

"The decor is charming in a dated sort of way, but the draftiness made us uncomfortable. The server was very efficient and knowledgeable. One guest, a true connoisseur, was impressed with the wine list. I chose the restaurant because of its French roots, but not much,if any, "frenchness" remains. The steaks were competently prepared, the lobster delighted its recipient ... we did not get the slightest taste of it. The bread was certainly not French. The spinach "au gratin" might be very popular, but it is not good to me ... yellow cheese and bacon to not make anything "au gratin." When I first read about Lynn's, I kept asking myself how I had never heard of it, and I was eager to go. Well, now I know it's not for me."

"To say "disappointing" would be an understatement. How about "over priced" "poorly serviced" disrespectful and blase on every single dish we were presented? Do not go to this restaurant for a special occasion. They blew it on every single level. Were seated and waited 10 minutes for someone to literally come to our table and ask us if we had been greeted yet. TRUE! Someone had to ask if we had been greeted yet, then - we waited yet another 10 minutes for the server to come back and actually pay attention to us. Mind you there were open tables around us, the place was not busy - yet. (that's forthcoming). Then we of course ordered a bottle of wine that they did not have, then they suggested a lesser priced option, instead of offering higher."

"This is a very established restuarant that has a good reputation. I decided to try it for Valentines with my wife. She enjoyed the evening and her special meal. (Lobster was magnificient. I did not enjoy my dry aged rib eye and felt it was actually the wrong cut of meat delivered to my table. It was too thin, too marbled. Overall since the wife was happy, I was content."
