"The food at L'ybane was exquisite- haven't had mediterranean foof like this in a long long time! I would definitely recommend this place for a casual diner out with friends and family. The space is a little limited so reservations are definitely necessary if going in a large group. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is unmatched."

"We asked for a quiet spot and that is what we got. Very considerate. We also had to wait for one member of our group, who was delayed. The staff was patient and willing to bring his meal just when we needed it. His soup was marvelous, and we had a lovely bolognese. It was half a block to the theatre, but didn't feel touristy or hurried, the way theatre-district restaurants usually do. And we had a wonderful glass of pinot at the "happy hour" rate, even though we weren't seated at the bar."

"Went here for lunch with a several people before seeing Spiderman matinee on Broadway. We all enjoyed the ambiance inside...cozy, warm and eclectic decor. Wine list very very good and the tapas-style appetizers were a hit. The calamari was crisp without being too oily and the cheese-stuffed pita just melts in your mouth. Main dish portions a bit on the big size...but there shouldn't be a negative to that :) I ordered the grilled chxn on bed of salad - chicken nicely seasoned but a bit dry. 2 in our party had the chxn burger and loved the garlic-mayo it came with. Best main dish, though, was the grilled mahi-mahi :) Overall great time...we all loved the tapas and was fine with the main dishes!"

"Salads are WAY overpriced in comparison to other dishes. It's a nice spot but unfortunately the prices are inflated due to the theatre district location. They would be 20% less in other neighborhoods. The food is good, but not that good."

"Food was sub par, not really what I expected from a mediterranean restaurant. I cook mediterranean food, and have been to plenty of places. This place just doesn't cut it for my taste. Menu didn't even have a good selection.

The place was a little too dark for my liking. The waitress wasn't helpful about the food on the menu, and didn't know what tzatziki was, come on its on the menu buddy..asked her what kind of meat was in the assorted meat, and she said..assorted meats lol.
