The freshness of the food, salads, seafood, & meats was incredible, nicely plated. We has great service, timely, friendly but not intruding!
It was a special birthday occasion & the birthday "girl" was treated to a lovely decorated plate with the dessert! Nice touch!
Beautiful view of Victoria's inner harbour & the parliament buildings, especially at night!

I had let the restaurant know about the occasion and they reserved for us an amazing corner table next to the windows overlooking the harbor. Derek, I believe his name was, was our waiter and provided very attentive service but also knew we weren't there to chit chat. We decided to do entrees instead of the Dine Around menu, which looked like a great deal. I was surprised at how small the portions were for the price. $35 for 6-8 1-to-2 bite frenched lamb chops was a little disappointing. The halibut my wife ordered was cooked perfectly, but tasted almost like nothing. Good thing the truffle emulsion on the plate was tasty. I found the menu to be rather limited apart from the seafood.
My partner had the pork and said it was really creamy.
The chocolate cake was very good
The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite.

It wasn't awful, but it wasn't excellent either. The scallop was cooked perfectly and tasty but the crab cakes were bland. I ordered the rack of lamb with granola, the lamb was cooked medium and it was perfect. However, the sauce with granola was weird, it was sweet and yet minty. I was expecting something savoury and possibly a touch of sweetness but the hints of mint was throwing me off. It was like eating an entree and dessert at the same time. My husband had the halibut and again, the sauce was bland.
There was no dish that we would go back there for. We were greeted in a friendly manner and shown to our table, which as we discovered later was the best table. service was great. We ordered crabcakes and calamari to start and they were great! very tender and gentle!Then we ordered special duck breast that didnt disappoint either! And we finished with goat cheesecake and flour-less chocolate cake. They have written Happy Birthday on my boyfriends plate which was nice since we did not mention that it was his birthday since we arrived. i was a bit disappointed in flourless cake as it seemed a bit too dense, dry and a bit hard to eat.
