My grandma and I were warmly welcomed and seated immediately upon our arrival. Service was fast and our waiter, although very busy with a few tables on Mother's Day, made sure to come check on us many times. The brunch menu was excellent and offered a wide selection of food for my grandma to choose from. As long as that picky eater was happy, I was happy. The atmosphere was great. The inside of the restaurant looks as if its modeled after a ship. Told me that should I be seated at 6:30, they'd need the table back by 8. What? I asked them if that meant they would make me get up, they said yes, and they might move me - squeeze me in somewhere else. I had people in from out of town and it was a birthday celebration.
When I received the check, I slid my credit card into one of the pouches of the leather piece the bill came in. I handed it to the Maitre D'. They came back to me and claimed I did not give them a card even though everyone at the table saw me put it in the billfold pocket. It took them 10 minutes to finally find my card which had mysteriously slipped out (on purpose).

It's fun pretending to be sitting on a yacht. I miss Mallory but she is Miss America now! It's always crazy, busy, and a loud scene. The noise volume is suffocating. You have to yell to your dining companions. The surf & turf is tiny, a 3.oz filet mignon and the smallest lobster tail (like the size of one jumbo shrimp!), $48. The oysters are $3.95 each and the Lobster tempura Roll is $19. My only real complaint is the Classic Lobster Roll is smaller than it used to be, is drowning in mayo, plus it's not chunks of lobster like it used to be. Didn't ask for anything special, just let them know. They gave us a wonderful, cozy table that faced the whole restaurant (and let us get close to one another in the booth), and after dinner, they brought us a few chocolate truffles with a candle in it, on the house! We'd been there before for lunch, but this meal was truly special. From the deviled egg appetizers to the sushi dinner, and everything in between, every detail was perfect.
