LuNello's Montville InnGreat food, great serviceThe food is up to par with the Lunello name. Although the menu is not as extensive as the original Lunello, the quality is not sacrificed. The service was great too. We got some wonderful suggestions from our friendly waitress. All of our appetizers and main entrees were delicious. Our table ordered crab cakes, calamari, a margharita pizza, monk fish, and filet mignon. If you love the bread pudding dessert from the original Lunello, they have it here too. The peanut butter mousse is outstanding. There was some noise ,but the restaurant was full. The food was prepared in a delicious and different way and was extremely flavorful. In my email reservation, I mentioned that we were celebrating my husbands birthday and the waiter acknowledged his birthday and the staff sang happy birthday during dessert. Our waitress recommended the Sangria which was very good. For appetizers, had the Brussel Sprout salad which was excellent and the Salsiccia which was quite large for an appetizer. Both were delicious. For entree, we had the Chicken Balsamico and the Scallops which were on the specials menu. Both dishes were very tasty.
