Luna Sur Latin BistroA great new find in Hells KitchenWe were very excited when Luna Sur opened since their menu listed "Saltado," a South American beef dish that we've been searching for far and wide since first encountering it in a Peruvian restaurant in Port Chester NY. Luna Sur's saltado was perfect, just the way it should be. All their other dishes are very special, authentic and delicious, with vivid South American flavors. Restaurant atmosphere is very pleasant, warm but understated. The service by managers, waiters and buspeople is extremely attentive and they want to make sure you have a good time. The 2 times we've been there they've featured live Cuban music which is wonderful, not too loud and just right. They got us to our seats and didn't rush any part of the dinner. It was a refreshing change to be able to converse and enjoy dinner without the feeling of being another table waiting to be turned over as quickly as possible. The food was out of this world.
