"So many of the reviews raved about Luna Park. However, we were terribly disappointed! Our experience was awful from the beginning,
We parked in front of the restaurant only to be told that valet parking is available 2 - 3 blocks back. We moved our car, walked back to the restaurant and entered a dark and dank building. We were seated in the back of the restaurant. That is the good news - one look into the kitchen and it was easy to decide to dine elsewhere."

"I felt the food was over priced for what we got. Our waitress also forgot about our table, which she apologized for but to forget about a table of 6 when you're paying that much is inexcusable."

"Luna Park is always one of my safe places to take out of town guests. Their food and service is always consistent and I always have an amazing time when I am there. Their menu is seasonal and I was very happy that they switched to their spring menu. Some noteworthy items to try are the mussels and frites and the pasta ragu. My favorite menu item is the Cobb Salad...hands down the best Cobb Salad in San Francisco! Wine menu and dessert menu is always creative and I enjoy that everything is organic or local. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a solid place to go and the prices are decent."

"Went for a quick bite on a Wednesday night. The service was horrible. Waitress was not attentive, I had to flag her down multiple times. We ordered the Cobb salad and mac and cheese. The salad was delicious, but not worth dealing with the service."

"Great date place, has private candle lit booths. Really rich delicious food- very romantic. If you sit at the back booth though you may have to remind the staff that you are there- we waited 25 minutes to order. But after that the service was great."

"We took our 15&11 year old kids while on spring break in SF. What an excellent place for the perfect combination of options. We each tried something we liked. The French toast. Popovers, salmon hash and Longhorn tacos. James the brunch chef is the best we have had for brunch. Great service by everyone. And bloody mary, mimosa for us adults, perfect!"

"Romantic dinner before the theater. Tuna poke, mac and cheese with broccoli and ham, mussels and fries. Yummy!!!!! We did the 30% off deal which after paying $10 turned out to be $3.xx, but $3+ is better than nothing. The music was a little too loud, but I liked the music they were playing. It's a good choice."

"An outstanding menu with food that everybody loved. The Salad Nicoise was amazing. The ambiance is wonderful being dark and charming. We were a party of 5 and from appetizers to desserts everyone was incredibly happy with what they ordered and excited to eat there again."
