"We had been to the San Francisco location, but this was our first time at Luna Park in Los Angeles. The mahi mahi was outstanding, and the brownie dessert was to die for! Sitting in the curtained booth gave us a little extra privacy and cut down on the noise."

"We had a great dinner at Luna Park. The food was very good, the server was helpful and the atmosphere was lively. We started with the hush puppies, I then had the steak which was very good and my partner had the gumbo which he really enjoyed (but you need to be a seafood fan) and finished off with the peanut butter chocolate pie, which as the server warned us is a lot more peanut butter than chocolate. It is a good PB mousse with just a think layer of chocolate ganache on top... we ate the whole thing. And if you are a drinker I would definitely suggest the Ice Breaker. :)"

"Service was great, love that the utensils are replaced after each course. The food was tasty - the only thing was that the gumbo was a little mushy, and could be better flavored. Only bits of seafood rather than whole seafood."

"We were seated promptly and at a comfortable table for our group of four. The server had solid recommendations from the dinner and drink menu. Staff cleared table of finished glasses and plates quickly. We camped the table for a bit and the staff did not rush us. Everyone picked something different for each portion of the meal and all was prepared expertly."

"They sat our group of four at a table by the entrance to the kitchen. As soon as we saw there was an empty booth, we requested to move and they graceously honored our request. So glad we moved to the booth where the noise level from the loud "club" music was less intense and we could enjoy our conversation. The food was excellent! Everyone in our party found each of their choices delicious. We had the 3-course prixe-fix, so we each selected an appetizer, an entree, and dessert. I had the mussels for appetizer (delicious broth/sauce and very fresh!); the salmon (excellent accompaniment of petite patatoes and greens with delicious sauce); the walnut brownie (perfect cap to the meal)."

"I live fairly close to Luna Park and come here a few times a year because it's convenient and is always worth returning to. On this visit, I had a Chipotle Caesar Salad that was very interesting. A nice change from a standard Caesar salad. Then, I just had a side order of their brocolli mac-and-cheese, which was actually quite a surprise. Even though it was a side order, the portion was good the dish itself was spot-on. I've also been here for their happy hour. We usually split a few pizzas amongst the table and get out for a reasonable price."

"Luna Park used to be my favorite restaurant even though we always get seated at the worst table available. But my latest visit (Easter Sunday) has left a bad taste in my mouth, literally. The food was lukewarm, the portion was tiny, and the service was slow. It's bad enough that I don't think I will return."

"The place is too dark. I understand their theme but we could hardly read the menu. There were more candles in the booth area. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. After appetizers were served, the server just went away and did not take our entree orders so we had to call and wait for our orders to be taken, in which it took about 10 minutes. We just sat. The only food that I can rave about was the gumbo, filled with seafood ingredients. The Hawaiian appetizer, only 4 pieces of tuna in the small cup. Prices of food are a bit expensive. I would not go back. Maybe I will recommend my friends to try that place to see what their experience but as I walked away from the place, I have already decided not to come back."
