  • "Coco vin was good but not great. It should be better than that for the price. I was hoping to be wowed."

  • "This place is nice enough for a local lunch. Nothing spectacular. Salad was a bit small. Service was desultory."

  • "This is one of the gems of the Miracle Mile area, serving really high quality food. I recommend the pork cutlet and the pizzas for those who are fans. Their smores desert is out of this world good too."

  • "The people were nice, the table was great but I was sooo bummed because they forgot to bring my husband his birthday cake. They completely forgot after I explicitly requested for them to do something special. I was just really sad"

  • "A great place to go with a significant other. Nice ambience, wonderful service, delicious food. Though, avoid pepperoni pizza (too oily). The ginger beer cocktail is delish. "

  • "I've been to Luna Park before and find the food to be very good. The only issue we encountered was a long wait for the food and our server seemed to disappear at times. But like I said the overall the experience was good as was the food."

  • "Came here for quick dinner before concert at The Wiltern. Highly recommend!!! Need close by alternative that takes you off Wilshire. SERVICE - fast and professional - arrived at 7pm and was out door at 735pm. Nice peeps! FOOD - Amazing. Ordered a number of yummy appetizers and wine! Highly recommend. "

  • "Luna Park is our new favorite restaurant in LA. The food is DELISH, the service is attendant, yet not intrusive, and it has a very cool bohemian vibe. People are always happy here. Oh, oh, and don't even get me started about Happy Hour -- BEST Happy Hour in LA!"

  • " We went for Mother's Day brunch. the food and service was great, with one issue. there was a small fire in the kitchen that we felt and heard when it exploded. Everyone ran toward the door, but quickly realized it was fine. My issue was that management just disappeared and didn't apologize to the patrons or anything. Ore waited was nice, but the management should have acknowledged the situation at least to us. "

  • "Food, ambience & attitude really good. Service - bad on this day and not crowded. I had to ask for everything twice?? Annoying - but I will try again"

  • "A friend and I dined at Luna Park before an event downtown. I will be back but there were a few glaring errors. Even though I had it on the table the entire dining experience, our server never mentioned that gift certificates weren't valid with happy hour. We had ordered enough non-happy hour items but they still wouldn't honor it. We also had issues with the Mac & Cheese..It was lacking salt, any toasting/browning and that nice cheesy flavor. Instead was a bland thin cheesy sauce and big stalks of broccoli. Not a good deal for the price. The drinks were tasty, although one was unexpectedly spicy and the server noted "who's bartending tonight? Oh, it's so-and-so, she always messes up." Try the proscuitto/burrata and goat cheese fondue! "

  • "I liked it. I had the boneless rib and it was really good. Also ordered the gnocchi as an appetizer and could have that as a meal. The staff was extremely friendly and moved us to a booth. I will go back and hope it gets more traffic"

  • "We absolutely love Luna Park and continually make it our choice for dining. The food is just fabulous and the specials are always spectacular. This week's special was a lamb tenderloin that was absolutely delicious. The au gratin potatoes were the best we have ever tasted! There is always special detail to the ingredients at Luna Park. I always feel like I'm dining in my favorite restaurant in Paris, because the food is so wonderful! The owners are European, so it could definitely be an influence. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is delightful! I would highly recommend this restaurant to all!"

  • "My wife and I decided to try Luna Park to celebrate our wedding anniversary and decided to bring our 3 year old along. It worked out perfectly. When we got there, the hostess congratulated us on our anniversary and sat us at one of their very cool, private-feeling booths. Our son loved it! The opening can be closed off with drapes, so we didn't need to feel embarrassed when we broke out the iPad for our son. The food was delicious. We had the goat cheese fondue (and will be trying to duplicate that dish at home), the roasted cauliflower, and the veggie pizza (we added mozzarella cheese to the vegan pizza). My son couldn't get enough of the short rib. Would love to come back soon!"

  • "My husband and I came for dinner after a matinee of "The Book of Mormon". We made a reservation on Open Table and they had a private booth (with curtains!) waiting. The food was great, as was the service. We had the prix fixe meal and had gotten there early enough to have 2 for 1 drinks (till 6 on Saturdays), which was a nice surprise. The food was AMAZING! For dessert, get the fried apple pie. Yum. The only issue we had was the terrible traffic on LaBrea, since there was Metro construction at the intersection of LaBrea and Wilshire and had LaBrea down to two lanes. Most of the street parking was restricted due to CiclaVia happening the next morning, but then we found the free Metro lot across the street We will be back!"

  • "The service was wonderful, although we started with this great guy as our waiter then he left early and this woman took over. She didn't check in on us as much as the guy. My experience there still was good, and I would definitely come back. I wish the guy could have stayed the entire time, but I still enjoyed Luna Park."

  • "Our family always chooses Luna Park for celebrations. We had the 3-course meal. Everything was perfect--food, energetic atmosphere, cocktails, service, management...WONDERFUL! Thank you, Luna Park, for the BEST birthday celebration ever!"

  • "This was my first time dining here. I had been excited to come here for a while and finally made it over. I had brunch with two friends. I ordered an orange juice and a veggie dish. My juice was so sour and not ripe tasting I could barely drink it. My food was really good, but the portion was so small I could have eaten two (and I'm not a big guy). The service was pretty good, but could have been a tad friendlier. The hostess was great! I will definitely try it again maybe for a meal other than brunch."

  • "I really like the point of view of the Chef here. The food is interesting and gutsy, not prim or too 'arty' and precious. They do a great take on classic American fare like their 'chipotle' caesar salad, excellent cocktails, and a fun warm sort of 'speakeasy' interior. The service was spectacularly welcoming and friendly. I was 20 minutes late for my reservation and they were very gracious none the less. The only downside for me was the ambient music was too loud. There's no need to 'pump up the volume'. The atmosphere is terrific without it."

  • "We stopped in for dinner prior to a show at the El Rey. We were a party of three and were immediately seated in a cozy booth. While the noise level grew throughout the evening, it was energetic and lively scene (not annoying). Plus, seated in a booth with curtains, it was quite nice in our secluded space. The food was fantastic! We had vegan pizza (filled with perfectly cooked veggies), jerk chicken (succulent and moist) and the salmon past aglio olio. The staff was super attentive and friendly. I'd definitely recommend it and we'll definitely return!"

  • "I have been here plenty of times but took my bridesmaids for brunch ... Great drink deals but service was a bit slow on the refills and it took a bit of time to get the check/leave. The food is solid - the place is pretty - it is a bit loud but a very nice brunch option with great drink deals."

  • "I celebrated my 29th birthday with a party of 14 (and a toddler). I enjoyed the delicious food and the wonderful company! We even spotted a celebrity that a few of us were fans of which really topped off the evening. The sparkler on my cake was especially fun and they catered to my no dessert diet by providing me with a fruit bowl. Everyone said they had a great time and the service was especially great."

  • "The restaurant is small in a good way, intimate. Was there on a dinner date. The service was excellent and all the food tasted great. We had the warm goat cheese fondu, the arugula and fennel salad, the rigatoni bolonese and the make your own smores. We enjoyed all of it. The rigatoni Bolognese was very spicy but the flavor was excellent."
