  • "My wife had the Crab Cakes entree (she liked them a lot - of course she is an aficionada of crab cakes and has tried them at dozens of restaurants here in the MD/DC/VA area) and I had the Blackened Seafood Combo (which was awesome). We each enjoyed a glass of the House white wine (which was perfect for the meals we had selected) and we split the lemon cake for dessert (YUMMY). Our server, Sarah, was perfect - she left us alone for most of the meal, but was quick to refill water or anything else we needed. Overall a wonderful dinner."

  • "I ordered a crab cake which taste like it came from a processed can that lost it's shelf life. I sent that back for shrimp salad which was overcooked and loaded with mayo and celery seeds. Crab cake dip was okay if you don't mind more cream cheese than crab meat. Also, it's too dark during the lunch hour making their photo gallery wall less appealing. But I must say that the service was very good and the atmosphere is really nice."

  • "Excellent food. Our server, Jamel, was outstanding, providing great suggestions and attentive service. Very convenient location, just west of the Inner Harbor and less than a block from the Convention Center, Hilton, and Marriott. highly recommend."

  • "Hostess was smoking at stand outside...should have been hint. "Fresh shucked oysters" were dry and old. No cocktail or horseradish only ketchup. One oyster was so past it's time it smelled. Paid tab and left. Did not order dinner. Was never asked why didn't eat or if could substitute or take off bill. Waste of time and money. The oyster I did eat sent me to the bathroom the bulk of the night and next day. "

  • "After a function at a nearby hotel (where staying) went over for a quick late dinner. Great menu. Great Seafood. Great people."

  • "According to opentable, and other online sources, they open at 10:30am. We made reservations for 11am. At 11am, not a soul was around. No one contacted us to say the reservations needed to be moved, or to apologized for the confusion. We called and called... finally got ahold of someone who was irritated with us for asking. They finally opened at 11:30, long after our reservations were over, and after we had finished eating elsewhere."

  • "The host seated us immediately and made accommodations for our senior citizen in a wheelchair. Thank you! The restaurant was not very busy but we sat for a very long time before our server took drink orders. He returned with the drinks promptly but then vanished for an extended period. After finally taking our meal order, we again waited for quite sometime. By the time we were served our entrees, my meal was lukewarm. It tasted fine but had obviously sat for a while. With a menu as pricey as theirs I would have expected at least adequate service. We frequent many Baltimore Inner Harbor restaurants but will not be returning here."

  • "For a restaurant with 'sea' in the name, they sure do not know how to cook fish. The Rock Fish was so well done that I had a hard time eating it. The Crab Cakes - Outstanding The steaks - Outstanding The salad - very nice. It was not very crowded so noise was not an issue."

  • "I selected this restaurant online through Open Table sight unseen for a staff reunion dinner at a conference because of its proximity to the convention center and hotel. From the moment we arrived we felt like family and despite the large group the waiter did a great job focusing on the individual tastes of each person in our party. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect for an intimate feel."

  • "The service was terrific. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly host. Ernie, our waiter was very accommodating and attentive keeping track of our time so that we would be on our way to the theatre on time. Service was prompt, food was presently well and hot."

  • "Thought it would be just a lousy tourist trap, across from the convention center, on Pratt St. What a GEM. I had the triple delight - Crab cake, scallops and shrimp. the shrimp were not the largest I have seen, but the crab cake was out of this world. The scallops were wonderful too. Good price, plenty of food. Good value. Recommended."

  • "Our server didn't seem like he really cared if we enjoyed our food. It took multiple times to get his attention to get a drink order. When asked about his preference of meals he acted as though it was a bother to answer those questions. Our tips was automatically included in the check. Lucky for him. If it was up to us he wouldn't have gotten anything. The food was pretty good but over priced. Overall, I'll never be back. Also, because of the service I had advised people who asked how my birthday dinner was, to never step foot in this restaurant."

  • "Looked ok at first glance but the food was very pricey for what you got ordered a entre that came with baked potato but when I asked for toppings on it I did not realize that meant I was ordering the six dollar side of loaded baked which was a sorry surprise on the bill wines and entries are overpriced for a restaraunt of this quality"

  • "Name is a mangled mixture of English and Italian or Spanish; Luna Sea would have been cleverer! Atmosphere comfortably retro, with walls covered with caricatures; might be described as "ugly cute.""

  • "The food was good but due to poor service I would not recommend as a place to dine. I had to wait 20 minutes for a diet coke refill after I reminded the waitress twice. For dessert I ordered coffee and again waited almost twenty minutes as the waitress forgot aboutthe ccoffee. The place was busy but not packed so I cannot state she was overly busy to be so poor with her customers. I will state that I did witness the three other wait staff handle their tables well and seemed to be very attentive to their clients."

  • "The food was amazing. Classic Maryland seafood dishes as well as pasta and a great steak. I had a ribeye cooked perfectly with a single crab cake. The crab cake was the best I have had in many years. No shells and all jumbo lump meat. My wife had seafood pasta with Alfredo sauce. It was a large portion that was amazing even the next day. The service was attentive without being pushy. The manager was present and had a fun personality. We will definitely be back soon."

  • "They rave about their crabcakes but I found them to be just ok, however the lobster with crab imperial was great as was the fried platter. Service was a little slow but the waiter was training a new waitress so we did not complain. Overall I would go back as it was a nice place to eat and the food was good."

  • "This restaurant lost our reservation through Open Table. I had printed out a confirmation and showed it to them. They told us to wait while the set up the "Ballroom" for us. They sat us in a back room by ourselves with stacks of chairs and other stored items. Our food took an hour an a half to arrive. When it did, they did not have one of our entrees. We waited another 15 minutes for our missing entrée. Our waitress was very apologetic. They deducted 20% off of our bill for all of the issues. Still, we will not return."

  • "I stopped in for a quick lunch this past weekend. When my server, Pearson, asked me what I'd like to drink I asked if they made fresh lemonade?! She said "no, but I'll make it for you." She then proceeded to squeeze out lemons to make my drink. I was remarkably impressed as she could have simply said no and that'd be the end of it. I can very much appreciate good customer service! For lunch I had the chicken salad sandwich which was good but not great. Price was reasonable for what I received. Bottom line I'd return to try other things on the menu."

  • "We choose Luna Del Sea for a business dinner before an Orioles game. Our waiter was knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. We had 1 in the party who did not eat seafood and she offered her the ability to create the pasta meal of her choice. We had a several appetizers and they were arranged beautifully on a platter. Our entrees were all great. I had the crab cake, scallops and shrimp and was very pleased. It was a perfect start to our night. Thank you Luna Del Sea!"

  • "I made a reservation a month ahead since it was Sat evening on the night of before the Baltimore Grandprix. To my surprise the place was pretty much empty at 7:30pm. I ordered a $60 bottle of wine. After 30 min wait, the bottle came already opened in the kitchen. I ordered a seafood pasta. The taste was so plain and pasta overcooked, spagetti I buy together with my take out pizza at my local pizza shop was better. Total price of $230 incluidng tip (2 adults and 2 kids) was ridiculous. Next day I tried to look for a different place, but I had a very difficult time finding any reasonable restaurant in Baltimore."

  • "The food was ok. We ordered two different dishes but based on the seasoning they put on top of everything we couldn't taste a real difference. Even with that we would've been ok but the service was even worse! Never have I had a server tell me no so many times during a visit. He was rude, he disappeared often, bad mouthed the other server for answering our questions during his long disappearance and an nonchalant attitude all around. We are NEVER going back here."

  • "The soup and vegetables were cold, the crackers that came with the soup were stale, the rockfish was bland, the ice cream was brought out already melted, and the wine was warm."

  • "The location and its initial look and feel had me to believe that I was in for a great experience. Waiting for my dinner companion, I went to the bar. The bartender had to look up my request (which I thought was a pretty standard drink). His first experiment failed. After his second attempt, it was something I could live with. The service was fair at best. The server had no personality or interest (at least as it appeared). He came to the table as I was finishing up and after touching my plate, asked if I were done. The food itself was OK but the portions in relationship to the price was off in my opinion."

  • "Great food. Had an excellent meal with equal service. However, it is way over priced. There was a convention in town at the time, so I don't know if prices were inflated to capitalize on this. I will go there again when not as busy to verify, as I would hate to not return because of price."

  • "The cream of crab soup was salty & heavy flour ... I was pleasantly surprised the crab cake was full of lump meat & Lille filler. The veggies were Luke warm to cool ... Not impressed"

  • "The food was SPECTACULAR!. Maryland Crab, Cream of Crab, Seafood bisque - delicious, great spice and sherry, not overpowering, like your mother/grandmother would make Crab imperial, seafood imperial, crab cakes - sumptuous, lots of seafood, no filler Lemon cream cake - luxurious Restaurant - not huge, but cozy. across from the Convention Center, close to ball parks Best food I have had in years. Wanted to lick the bowl and plate, but thankfully we had bread to take care of that job."

  • "The best part of the meal was the bowls of crab soup. The crab imperial and seafood were a bit salty, but very tasty, and all we got for a side dish was a bit of lettuce."

  • "The restaurant is located within walking distance to several downtown hotels and the Camden Yards stadium. I went there for lunch while I was visiting Baltimore for a conference. My friends and I sat outside to eat. I ordered fish and chips for $10. The food was great, though not any better or worse than other fish and chip plates I've had at other restaurants. I don't remember what my two friends ordered, just that they thought it was delicious and ate every bite. The service could have been better though. When we sat down, they brought us water immediately. However, one friend ordered lemon for it which she never received. I also ordered tarter sauce for my fish, which I received after I had eaten almost half of the fish. Oh well..."

  • "The restaurant was crowded and clearly not handling the rush before the Orioles game very well. We sat for more than 15 minutes before having a waiter approach us and that was only because I started complaining. The waiter was very apologetic and even more so when it took a very long time for our meal to come out - even offered us a free beer. The seafood platter was ok, but very over-priced for what you got. The ribeye steak was a good piece of steak cooked as requested and included one side. The price was a bit high, but not as overpriced as the seafood platter."
