Luma on ParkYum in my TumLuma is excellent! It is fine dining food without the fine dining atmosphere... You know, the feeling like you're sitting on your great Aunt Tutie's couch and she's watching you, with her black onyx stare, willing you to not spill your Welches grape juice.
Luma is the place you want to go after hearing bad news because eating there reminds you that nothing in life is too bad when food is that good.

When I reserved a table online I asked them to recognize my wife's birthday in some special way. This was done flawlessly. When we entered the restaurant the maitre wished my wife well birthday wishes and this was reiterated by our server as well. The menu was not extensive but the food was great. The ambience is not stunning but sufficient for a cozy date night or small party celebration. Our server was attentive and was kind enough to comp my wife's desert. Overall my wife was pleased therefore I was pleased. We tried to make the reservation on line, and all we could get was 11 am, so when we got to the show, we went to the restaurant, and they graciously changed the time to our requested 12:30, and again, graciously sat us, when we showed back up at noon.
I had a caesar salad(nice- but not worth $10.00) and the appetizer crab cake, which was good. My husband and our friend both had the flank steak/salad and fries, which they both enjoyed. Her was cooked perfectly, my husbands was pretty rare for ordering medium.
Service was generally good.
