We had 3 different dishes off the 3-course meal menu and we all really enjoyed our meals. This was a great value that we were not disappointed with. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and how the waiter described the doneness was exactly what we got. The servers were very attentive, but not too much so and the manager made rounds to check on everyone. We had a reservation and were seated right away despite the fact that several people were waiting on tables. The atmosphere is very hip and the people watching outside is great too. Our waiter was a wonderful guide through the cocktail and dinner menus. The wine selection was a perfect paring with our whitefish and scallops entree's. This restaurant is always busy so reservations are the way to go. The food is outstanding and the servers ensure that you are well taken care of. This is a sign of excellent management and staff who want to ensure that you have a great expereince so you'll return. Our hotel clerk recommended Lulu's and so we made open table reservations ASAP (it was a Friday night). We decided to sit at the bar to take advantage of the happy hour menu because it was not available in their normal dining sections. We opted to order light items and so we ordered the lettuce wraps, lightly fried oysters and the chinese chicken salad. All the items were tasty and I would not hesitate to reorder them on a second visit. My mojito was also very tasty and fresh. The second cocktail, keylime martini, was okay. They used Smirnoff because it was flavored, but I was not a fan. We three were shown to our booth immediately. It overlooked the main dining area, a wonderfully open swirl of pastel colors, full of light & buzzing with excitement. The wide open space has dramatic staircases open to reveal the levels above, suitable for private parties. The service we received was excellent from beginning to end. There were many couples, some with children & many groups of people, half of whom were gay adding to the atmosphere. Recommend ice cold vichysoise, ahi tuna appetizer, angus burger, lightly fried zucchini strips. Brunch is a steal at $19.99 for 3 courses with lots of variety. Most places in Palm Springs seem kind of old and have weird decor, but Lulu was airy, modern, and polished. The prix fix dinner (3 courses for $19.99) was SUCH a steal. The menu was really expansive with lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. I had the lobster ravioli in the prix fixe and couldn't believe I paid so little. Great food, great environment, and great service from the wait staff. The host/hostess that night seemed snobby and like they were annoyed I was there, but I live in San Francisco so that is kind of the norm, haha. I wanted to come back but we left the next day. only 1 sour note, tvs with large screen had very violent martial art kick in the face show on, not great for dining and relaxing, very wierd. Made my daughter very uncomfortable who is 41.

We were pleased to find out that we had a wonderful Mother's Day Menu to choose from which had ample choices and very reasonable prices. Mother's Day was superb. I made reservations and I was so pleased that there was no complications with our reservation, that it was honored correctly. That was huge. We were on time. I knew that our table might be desired as we asked for outside. All went well.
We have taken my 4 and a half granddaughter there before. She behaved, the place is kid friendly without losing its adult ambiance.
