Dishes are more on the Italian side than other reviews claimed - which was perfect for our needs. Lots of great wines to choose from - not as many beers but they do have the staples. I would go again for sure.

At first my wife and I were a little confused as the awning said "Lulav", yet when we entered, the interior signs and menu were for, "The Italian Eatery" - and we needed to confirm with the waiter that we were in the former "Lulav". In any case, we were very pleased with the quality of the food and reasonable cost - as an appetizer we had a stuffed portabella mushroon (quite large) with gnochi and apple at the recommendation of our waiter and it was really good, so for my meal I had the waiter's recoomendation of the vodka and pesto linguine and added some lobster, while my wife had the seabass. Both were excellent! Total with wine, desert and 20% tip was $120. We'll be back!

The sea bass was amazing~! The service was excellent. We were there pretty early, before a concert so there were not a lot of people there. Don't know how it would be if they were crowded. Will definitly go back. Pretty pricey but so worth it.

We tried the puff pastry for starters, the sea bass and the spicy lobster pasta. All the dishes had well-balanced flavor and were brought to the table steaming hot. The service was a tad inattentive since there was a large party sitting next to us that required our waiter's attention. It was a good evening, yet this was a place we probably won't visit again soon since we would opt for other venues that offered a better dining experience.

  • We went Lulav on New Year's
    OpenTable Diner Since 2009
    Dined on 12/31/2012
We went Lulav on New Year's Eve night and was not too impressed.I think if we would have gone on a regular night when they offered their full menu we would have had a better dining experience. For New Year's Eve they had a fixed 3-course menu priced at $60/person, plus $20 per person for a wine pairing. The options they offered if purchased from a similar quality restaurant would have cost between $40-$45 on a regular night so I thought it was a little over priced. The appetizer was good. The "flat iron steak" that was the main course selection that my wife and I both chose was not impressive although the side dishes that came with it were very good. The deserts were good as well. The quality did not match the cost on this particular night.

Was expecting the food to be better for the prices charged. Crabcake was cold in the center and side dish to seabass (truffle/rice mixture) was not very good or appealing to the eye. The seabass was cooked very expertly I thought. Our waiter was great. But would not go back for another special occasion/anniversary.

First off, the food was pretty good. The service, however, was severely lacking. After being seated the waiter came for our drink order. I just wanted water and my boyfriend ordered a beer. It never came. After about twenty minutes the waiter came for our dinner order, still sans beer. We had the salmon and the duck. We also ordered a side of fried potatoes. The waiter asked if we would like the bread service as well; I said we did, but it never came either. After about thirty minutes, our food came and it was very good. Well, what we got of it was good. Those potatoes we ordered never came either. When we got the check, I had to point out to the waiter that some of the items on the receipt we never got. And there was a 20% tip auto added.

Our server Lauren was absolutely fantastic!!! We are vegetarian and she went over and above to assist with the most delicious menu options available. The food was divine ;) Lauren personally made a fantastic cocktail! The restaurant was full, but service was unhurried, efficient, and accurate. My first choice on the menu was unavailable, but the kitchen (via Lauren) provided excellent alternatives and offered a combo off the menu at a reasonable price. It was the perfect choice for dinner prior to a show at The Rep - just down the street. We loved it so much we made reservations for the following week! Regretfully we were only in Little Rock for 10 days...
