What a wonderful meal, with creative, locally sourced cuisine and excellent, professional yet friendly service. It is so refreshing to be able to eat this well without having to reserve weeks ahead of time and have the evening turn into a precious event. she did. It's trendy but relaxed enough that we didn't feel at all out of place even with our 10 year old child. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We went on a Sunday night--which was perfect. The dining room had the last rays of the day's sunlight filtering in through the stained glass window and curtains.. we felt like we were in Paris. The dining room is as cozy as a warm hug, and the food was just as comforting. We started with the tortellini appetizer--beautiful pillows of pasta filled with this transcendent cheese, slightly melted. My only complaint about this dish is that I wanted more! I had the chicken..perfect comfort food, crispy skin, moist and juicy on the inside. My boyfriend had the ham and raclette sandwich, which he absolutely devoured. In short, Lula Cafe is a gem.
