  • "We visit this restaurant every couple of months when we are in Arvada and we have never been disappointed with the food or service!"

  • "We had the 2 steaks 2 sides a bottle of wine and a desert to share special. The steaks were so good and the Key Lime Pie was incredible! Our server was attentive, friendly and funny! Great dinning experience! Thank you!"

  • "We are "regulars" at Luke's and it is consistently good. No matter what we order we always get one of their amazing baked potatoes. This time we tried something new: the bread pudding. All we could say was: OHHHHH....MYYYYYYY....GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So delicious!!!"

  • "Luke's is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants for special occasions. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary there this year. My wife loves their scallops. On this visit we both enjoyed the large prawns in the shrimp cocktail. The New York strip was excellent for an entrée. We always get terrific service from the regular wait staff. We really appreciate the comfortable casual atmosphere paired with the great food and wine selections."

  • "We were so pleased to finally try Luke's after years of driving by the restaurant and hearing good things about it. The food is delicious, the wait staff is friendly and accommodating and the environment is comfortable. We will definitely be back!"

  • "Great Steak Place! The food was amazing! I'm sure my 16 oz steak was at least 20 oz, as I couldn't finish it - a very rare occasion. The steaks and the sides were all seasoned to perfection, the waitress was friendly and attentive, and the owner even made the rounds to personally ensure we had a good meal and great experience. Luke's offers all of the quality of a top-end steakhouse with prices that allow you to visit more often. Don't get me wrong, you get what you pay for in this world and this is not a cheap place. However, the quality is as good as higher-priced steakhouses in the metropolitan area, but Luke's still costs less per entree, and there are NO additional charges for your sides."

  • "Perfect for that special occasion nice wait staff and over all great experience of our Anniversary"

  • "It was the most expensive and worst meal I've had thus far this year. The salad was too salty from excess cheese. Usually a place as expensive as this would add cheese or fresh ground pepper at the table. The soup tasted like it came from a can. The calamari left much to be desired. I know the specialty here is steak, but even the steak was not that great. The waitress was nice, but clearly inexperienced. She did not even ask how we wanted our steaks done. Overall, very disappointed, since we drove all the way from east Denver to try it out. Wish we had come during restaurant week, because at least we would've paid less for this meal."

  • "Luke's had nothing to recommend to anyone. Steak poor, salads drowned in dressing, dull onion soup, whimpy sweet potato cooked yesterday and we actually paid good money for this disappointment! Don't know how they stay in business. Zero atmosphere and unacceptable food. "

  • "My husband and I have been coming to Lukes's since it opened. The food never disappoints, the wait staff is friendly and very attentive. The menu is greatly expanded since the original opening, the additions are great choices. We miss the personal touch Mike used to bring to the dining experience. He knew the regulars by name and if he was there, which he usually was, he always made a point to come by, say hello and make sure you were satisfied with the meal and service. "

  • "My wife and I enjoyed the steak at Luke's. Service was quite slow, but acceptable if you have time to allow for a 2 hour meal. Highly recommended as a quiet destination restaurant when time permits. "

  • "Every thing was as always perfect. The food is always excellent the wait staff is always very helpful, and always courteous. I have eaten there often and maybe years apart, but always beats my expectations Unfortunately for me you are located across town and although the ride is about forty five minutes it is never disappointing. Have had birthday dinners and friend get together, and always have the greatest food and service. The price point is very good when compared with other steak places, such as Morton's, Shanahan's, Elway's Ruth Crisp, and many others that I have been to Luke's is always the best. Thank you for not changing, and stay just as you are a friendly place to have a great meal and most importantly, the best dinning experienc"

  • "Great salad (different and yet not different!) Great sides!"

  • "Sincerely, this place has to have one of the best ribeye steaks this side of downtown. Other items on the menu are also delectable, however to find a well seasoned juicy ribeye west of downtown, for an affordable price? Now, that's a rarity. Plus, the service was excellent! Wouldn't think you could find a quality five star restaurant in a strip mall of i-70. Guess you can't judge books by their covers :-) Will definitely be visiting again!"

  • "We've been to Luke's twice, once for dinner and once for brunch. It is just right. The service is excellent, the food is great, the portions are reasonable, the prices are good. They handle food allergies and kids nicely. It's a delight and we just moved to the neighborhood, so we look forward to many more meals at Luke's."

  • "Must have been a problem in the kitchen because our waitress twice brought the wrong thing including my steak."

  • "Even though it was Restaurant Week, so we had a limited menu, it didn't detract from the total package that is, LUKE'S, A STEAK PLACE! Luke's has the best steak in town, cooked to perfection anyway you want it. My favorite is the New York Cut. Usually they have grilled asparagus which is wonderful, but since it was Restaurant Week they didn't have the menu. Well, that just mean I have to go back!"

  • "their meat was delish!! we had a baby with us and they were great about the mess she made. Food and drinks were amazing."

  • "This years experience at Luke's did not come close to last years. The glass of wine was taken away, and the dessart was bad. I loved the Blue cheese potaoes last year, and they were gone. All said, I get that the price needed to go up to insure a good menue and the restaurant week is very hard on the restaurant, but don't cheapen the menue. Give a choice of a glass of wine or dessart, heat the plates, and up your side choices. I love Luke's but restaurant week was a disappointment."

  • "Tried this place out for the first time the other week for brunch/lunch and was pleasantly surprised! The brunch menu looked great but my fiance and I were too tempted by the blue cheese fillet sandwich to pass it up, and it definitely did not disappoint! The bottomless mimosas were great too; they bring you a craft of them to your table so you don't need to bug the server every time you need a refill. We will definitely be going back soon to try out their dinner menu and again for brunch! Highly recommend!!!"

  • "Luke's A Steak Place is just around the corner from us. I thought we could try this place for our annual Denver Restaurant Week outing. What a gem. Close to home, lots of parking, not downtown, quiet enough to actually be able to have a conversation, we were never rushed with our meal. service was outstanding, always had a full water glass, and with me that is a big plus. The steaks were awesome along with the great wine. We will definitely go back again."

  • "We like to try placed that aren't chains. So we gave Luke's a chance. Food was ok, however for the price we paid it was overpriced. It was good for a one time try. But we won't be back because of the cost to what you get. I can get more else where for less."

  • "The steaks we had were the best that we have eaten in recent memory, wasn't a big fan of the blue cheese scalloped potatoes, but I had to try them, the steamed mussels were great don't hesitate to get an order of those you won't be disappointed. They have a small bar you can set at and eat at the bartender was great she was very busy but still took the time to talk to everyone setting at the bar. We had a table with reservations and got seated late as tables were not available and they compt. our drinks. I'll be back!"

  • "Luke's was a pleasant surprise, i mean i didnt expect what i came into by the outside looks and location of the SteakHouse. Dress was Business Casual. Our waitress was really sweet and accommodating. Seating was roomy enough for a big guy like myself. I was glad to see the steaks come out with a Potato and Vegetable, both of my choice. The desert tray was great. (I know, We ate most of it) I have eaten at many steak houses over the last 25 years in Denver. Downtown, south of town, west of town and up North. This was my first time at Luke's. Great Job Guys, one of the best steaks I have had on a long time. Great deal for the price! I would recommend this to all!"

  • "We recently visited Luke's for a birthday celebration and immediately encountered problems with the reservation. I had a confirmation from Open Table but the restaurant had no record of it. Luckily, since we arrived early in the evening we were able to be seated. The steaks are consistently excellent and well prepared. Two of us ordered steamed asparagus and while it was good, the Hollandaise sauce had no flavor; it should be re-worked or eliminated. The other sides, baked white and sweet potatoes were fine. It was a busy night but we had a long wait for all of the service. The wait person was friendly and gracious, but we waited over 45 minutes for anything but drinks on the table. The quality has declined."

  • "Food was very good. It was so crowded and busy, however, that the wait staff had trouble keeping up with the service. We had to wait quite a while for bread and butter plates, even though we already had the bread and butter."

  • "My family and I have been going to Luke's for years, and the food is consistently good. The know how to prepare a steak and they are always flavorful. Baked potatoes are awesome, and they make one of the better margarita's in town!"

  • "A great old school steak house with wonderful cocktails. Service was good with a friendly owner chef who came out to ask how we enjoyed our dinner. Nice touch!"

  • "We've been to Luke's a few times over the years and it was ok. I thought we'd try it again and I was pleasantly surprised! I always remembered the salads as great and the steak as good but this time, the food, including the steak was excellent. They've remodeled the inside so it's a little softer and more welcoming. Love it and highly recommend it to anyone in the area."

  • "I took my family out to thank them for helping me and Luke's has ALWAYS been very good; this time, it just wasn't. The steak was "okay", not as tasty as usual. The bread was cut when it was either not fully cooked or too hot and we received flat strips of bread--and I mean FLAT--not slices! The side were very disappointing. The scalloped potatoes were overcooked and too salty and my grilled asparagus was burned, crispy! Alternately, the salad was excellent except we were trying to divide one not full bowl at first then they finally brought out another small bowl for the table; the coffee was fresh and hot. We did make reservations and the restaurant had only a very few patrons inside but we were seated in the back by the kitchen!!"

  • "The food was fair at best, I had a steak that looked good but lacked flavor. I thought that maybe we found a good steak house close to our house but I was disappointed. I'm not sure I would go back when I can better meals at so many other places."

  • "Even cooked as ordered at medium well , (and they hit that right the first time) this steak was tender and by far the best I've had in town.salad family style was a little over dressed for my tastes but the meal overall was fantastic. A little pricy but for the steak lover in me well worth the price."

  • "Heard about this restaurant from a websie I read about food, sites to frequent. I am a vegetarian, why go to Lukes? It was a birthday celebration for our younger son. My salad, and two vegetable sides were very adequate. The others in the party including two grandkids under 10, had macs and cheese, spagetti, while the other family members had terrific steak dinners. Love the low key yet nice ambiance, the neighbor flare, not overly fancy or overbearing."

  • "I hate commercials and the music that is playing at the Bar (right on the other side of restaurant seating 1/2 wall) is a radio station with commercials. Really. For the price of our meals I would expect a little more out of the ambiance. We have visited 2 times and doubt we'll be coming back. There were only a few tables seated both times and the timing of the meals was not what one should expect. Here is a tip, if there is a kid at the table, more times than not all families want the kids food out first. Or at least with the salad course that took way too long. And DON'T put the Mac & Cheese bowl in the oven! Telling a toddler that the plate is extremely hot is ludicrous. Kids meals should not have bowls that can burn you."
