  • "First off, when I inquired about what was on the Chef's tasting menu, I was told it is whatever the Chef wants to send out and there is no way for anyone to know what it will be. I immediately thought that if I went with it, I would be getting whatever mistakes the kitchen makes and/or whatever has be sent back to the kitchen. Secondly, half the menu that was posted online was missing from the menu that they had at the restaurant. They said that their menu is seasonal and that it changed just the day before. The dishes that were removed were the most appealing and the ones which remained left the menu boreing. The starter portions were rather small, for the price, except for the ceasar salad which was enough for two."

  • "My reservation was for 7:30 in order to make a 9pm show.Even with a reservation we were asked to wait at the bar for a table for 2. After 15 minutes of waiting I went to the desk & to see how much longer,noticing plenty of empty tables. We were seated a few minutes after at a table for 4 that had been available the entire time. Our waitress Debbie was very nice but the food left something to be desired. We ordered Potato Gnocchi which was ok & Chicken Milanese.The chicken was dry & it tasted as if it were covered in corn flakes.Due to our late seating we were unable to have desert. A quick cup of coffee which was probably the best part of the meal & off to the show. For the money I'm sure there are better places to eat. I do not recommend."

  • "The waitress was in a hurry to take our order, but once she took it we didn't see her until we were almost done. The server did not ask if we wanted pepper with our salads so we requested it. She forgot and never returned with the pepper. The only person who made any attempt at providing us any service was Nestor whom we believe to be a bus person. We got the impression by the end of the night that he was use to covering for the poor service of our waitress and server. We have been to Luke's before and also to his satellite restaurants. In fact we hosted a wedding rehearsal in Linwood. On all occasions we looked forward to returning, but after this experience it will be a long time before we consider returning."

  • "i made this reservation for my boyfriend's birthday, thinking that it was an upscale Italian restaurant. I was wrong. The prices are certainly upscale, but the food left so much to be desired, including the very limited menu. I had shrimp and lobster scampi over homemade fettucine. The lobster tail was so small and so rubbery, I sent it back. They sent another lobster tail, but it wasn't much better. The fettucine could have come out of a box. The shrimp were decent. My boyfriend had Osso Buco, which we both love. It was not impressive at all. $150 later, we wish we had gone somewhere else."

  • "Disappointing is a word I'd use to describe my dinning experience at Luke Palladino. There are no scenic views. The Swordfish I ordered was served dry and bland tasting. My companion's steak was ordered medium and delivered rare. Complaints about her stake resulted in a 30 second return to the cooking element. For one hundred twenty two dollars it should have been a lot better. I would not return to this restaurant even if paid to do so. Sad but true I hated my Luke Palladino experience."

  • "Luke Palidinos is the kind of restaurant that your meal can be different each time you go. Their menu has many selections ranging from great apps, salads, pastas, meat and fish dishes and desserts. This time we concentrated on 3 great appetizers and then each had a lushous pasta and even squeezed in a dessert. All great and very enjoyable! We will be back again and again!"

  • "we have eaten here about 7 times. the last couple of times were not a good experience. this visit, my wife had a flatiron steak braciole, and the server recommended "med/well" for pink--it came out well done, even crispy, not tough but overdone. I had lobster and shrimp fra diavolo, lobster tail was overcooked, tough and chewy, shrimp were overdone, not quite as poorly as the lobster. the clam soup was delicious, as was the caesar salad. our server could have been more interested in us, never came back till we were done, although the manager asked how our meal was, yet did nothing to correct the matter when I told him the food problems. we will not be dining here in the near future at least--will try the steakhouse."

  • "I so looked forward to my husband and I having dinner there. My husband's entire meal was fine. My appetizer was wonderful. My entree was another matter. I had the chicken milanese and a side of spaghetti. I did not realize it at first because I cut the chicken cutlet in half and was eating from center outward. But when I had a few pieces of the center and started cutting the edges, I had to almost saw the chicken. I turned the chicken over and it was very dark on the bottom side. The chicken was over cooked and dry once you got away from the middle. My spaghetti was 'gummy' from being over cooked. I could not eat either. The server apologized and offered to get me something else. I said no because by then my husband was almost done eating."

  • "The evening started off with a loud atmosphere. The wine was delivered. For appetizers we ordered broccoli rabe and a garden salad. The broccoli was served alone. The waiter explained the salad should be out in 2 minutes. To be courteous, I waited for the salad to arrive before I considered eating mine. 16 minutes later, the salad comes out. Unacceptable. I refused both dishes and asked to pay for the wine and bread. For a 4 star restaurant and highly priced, for no good reason, I caught a huge blunder on the menu. Caciocavallo is NOT made from the finest Cow's milk but rather the finest Mare's milk, hence the name. The place is Italian as Domino's pizza. An anticipated wonderful meal was cut short."

  • "Luke Palladino at Harrah's Resort is a vibrant, centrally located upscale restaurant with great service. The bar was a buzz with people and great bar tenders. I enjoyed myself as did my friends. My only comment is regarding the portion size of the entrée. The size of our entrees were "ridiculously small". I did want or expect a large portion, but the size was entirely too small. Unfortunately, I will not go to Luke Palladino again for dinner."

  • "We have had dinner at this restaurant a few times and the food and service have been good. What I have noticed is the portion size keep getting smaller and smaller. I swear the next time we eat there they will show us a picture of the food and hand us the bill. I love good food presentation as much as the next person but the portions are extremely small for an Italian restaurant that charges the price they do. Pasta has to be the cheapest food to make but the chef treats it's like gold. Come on Luke! Ease up the purse strings and give your customers a decent size dinner for the money."

  • "Staff very upset we had 5 instead of 4. Their verbalized this to my friends. This couldn't be helped as we were part of a trade show and sometimes groups changed. Throughout dinner many felt they were rolling eyes, etc. Unfortunate as I brought VIP's there to wow them. They were by the food but were surprisingly insulted by the hostess and 2 servers. This never happens to me."

  • "This was a highly anticipated first visit to Luke Palladino's, and it was memorable. The servers Gerry, Sherry, and Gregorio made us feel right at home. We had the seafood appetizer which consisted of a lobster tail and claw, shrimp, olives, and other delights. My husband and I had the autumn salad, which was wonderfully healthy. We all enjoyed the Seafood Brodo- lobster, shrimp, clams, crab, calamari, and cannelini beans. The homemade pasta, which I ordered on the side, was to die for. We ordered coffee, which my son declared was the best he had ever had, and we all had gelato. My espresso gelato, with chopped coffee beans and chocolate, was too good to describe. Portions are generous. Can't wait to return."

  • "We went for AC Restaurant Week...our server was nice but very slow...we waited 20 minutes for dessert and then then he forgot what we ordered...as for the food, we enjoyed our appetizers (the bruschetta and truffled grissini)...entrees were the braised pork ribs (excellent) and seafood mixed grille (the filet had a bone in it and the shrimp were overdone, but the scallop was outstanding)...dessert was the tiramisu (very good) and biscotti and zabaglione (way excellent)... the Venetian lemonade cocktail was also excellent (will make that one at home...prosecco and lemoncello...mmmmm)...all told, the experience was worth the $33.15 per meal, but we will probably not go back there again."

  • "Come for the food and try to ignore the slow service. Food is stellar here whether ordering off the regular menu or their special restaurant week menu. The wine list needs more depth with more affordable wines. Too many wines are way overpriced or priced for the casino comp crowd and not the general public. We have yet to be seated when we arrive at the time of our reservation. It seems that everyone is kept waiting.Luke's offshore is a better bet and you can bring your own wine."
