"We had dinner before a Ranger game on Saturday, the food is wonderful as always, service has definitely improved, but is still a bit slow. The host was very attentive, but it took 20 mins btwn our very simple apps and pastas, prob bc there was a table of 8 next to us...that shouldn't be a huge deal at 5:30. We will continue to go back for the great food."

"Perfect spot for a pre-Knicks game dinner! Service, food and ambiance were fantastic. The Trefoil pasta, chicken parm and mushroom pizza were delicious. Would definitely go again."

"If your looking for a quick so, so meal before a MSG event, they will get you in and out. Spaghetti vongole was awful, pasta stuck together in one lump and the four vongole clams were chewey."

"Food was great and the service was fast. It's a very convenient location. Just don't sit outside because even if it seems really nice out, all of a sudden 33rd street becomes a wind tunnel and you can't keep anything on your table. They should have setup the outside area a little smarter. But the food is what you go for and it was excellent, especially the brick oven pizza."

"I enjoyed my meal at Lugo, but the service left something to be desired. I would return if I'm going to an event at MSG and want a sit-down meal beforehand, but wouldn't return otherwise."

"Have been to Luggo several times. I had the chicken Parm which was good. I got a side of pasta as well which was awful as well as an extra 14.00 which I wasn't told about."

"This is the second time that I have had a meal at Lugo Caffe before a Knicks game. Both times the food has been excellent and the service was supurb. It's one of the few places in the area to get a solid meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking to eat around Penn Station."
