I will order, with some embarrassment, the risotto 4 of 5 times. I have yet to regret my decision! Greg makes a point of choosing seasonal ingredients, as well as local when possible. If there is a downside, it is the layout and acoustics that make the dining experience very noisy when the house is full. But the food? Fantastic. The pear and prosciutto appetizer is a must. Lamb shank delicious each and every time. We had a house wine that was good and an Oregon beer that was very good. The entrees were hot and very good and the bread and olives were great. The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly; special requests are readily accommodated. The restaurant was very busy and our table wasn't quite ready so we had seats at the bar. It happened that Greg the owner and chef (I think) was playing bartender. He went out of his way to make me a "tart" lemon martini- so good I had two! We were offered a table for 6 because our table's occupants were slow in leaving. We declined because we were being well taken care of at the bar and others were waiting for the larger table. (This was offered within 15 min. of our requested time which to me is timely.) The meal that followed was superb and the service ourstanding. Greg checked on all tables several times while we were there.
