A word from Lucy's Seafood Kitchen
Lucy's Seafood Kitchen was established in 1996. We have been voted Mississauga's Favorite Seafood Restaurant in Reader's Choice Polls since opening. The restaurant is owned and operated by Lucy & Len Little and has won many awards for great seafood and attentive service. The restaurant features a Cajun influenced menu rich in selection of fresh fish, shellfish and Angus steak, all prepared with fresh and creative accompaniments. The atmosphere is casual New England style with checkered tablecloths, high open ceiling and open kitchen. Lucy's features a wide selection of selected draft beers and wine to fit every one's discretion. At Lucy's we believe "Quality is All" and we look forward to serving you soon.Continued

  • "We had relatives up from the US and the 8 of us had a great time....as always."

  • "We were there for lunch and it was very enjoyable. The coconut shrimp are huge and excellent. My only comment would be that the menu on the website needs to be updated. One of my guests had looked at it online & was looking forward to having crab cakes only to find that it was no longer available. Then she ordered the Lobster Roll only to find out that was not available from the current menu either. Finally she ordered the fish and chips which she did say it was one of the best fish she has had."

  • "I have been to Lucy's several times now. Food is really good, with great selections and quality ingredients. I have ordered a variety of menu items and all have exceeded my expectations every single time! Also, I have two kids and the atmosphere is very kid friendly. I would definitely go back to Lucy's and recommend to family and friends. Thanks"

  • "Went as a group of five, one teenager and two younger kids included in that number. The service was not as good as I would have liked. I asked for water refills and never got it; the waitress completely forgot after revisiting the table more than once since the request. I couldn't bother to keep asking. Yes, the restaurant was pretty busy, but to me that's no excuse. My wife and I felt the dining experience was okay, but when we talked about it afterwards neither of us were overly impressed. The food seemed okay, but my wife wasn't feeling good shortly after we ate. She had the salmon, something she eats regularly when we go out to restaurants, but it didn't sit well with her last night. Perhaps it was just an off night for Lucy's."

  • "We were looking for somewhere to go for my birthday that served Seafood. A quick Google search lead me to your restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was great, Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. We were the last to leave and felt like the staff was happy for us to take our time which was nice. We will be back for sure."

  • "I'm never disappointed when we go to Lucy's. We found this place after Big Daddy's in Mississauga closed down and have loved it. It's a nice casual dining environment with great food."

  • " Portions have become smaller but still O.K Kristi was friendly and busy."

  • "This is our second time with a group and it was pretty good. The servings of pasta were huge, but the food was great."

  • "My wife and I have been regulars for almost 20 years. We usually go for dinner after an early movie on a Wednesday or Thursday and always have a great time. Food is great and the staff always treats us well. I think we have celebrated a dozen or more birthdays there, including most recent on June 9th 2014. We have also brought friends and relatives for dinner, who rave about the place afterwards. We always feel at home there and appreciate the greetings we receive from Len and Lucy. My wife and I have dined all over the GTA and it is clearly our favourite spot. Mike Benson"

  • "I visited for dinner. The service was very good, but the food did not match. The chicken gumbo was so/so. It was thick which made it the consistency of gravy. The clam chowder tasted like it was home made, but there were barely any clams to be found. I had the lobster ravioli as the main. It too was tasty, but there was barely any lobster. I would have paid more for fewer pieces of ravioli and larger pieces if lobster. Overall, I won't call the restaurant to complain, but I also won't be going back - there's no reason to..."

  • "Monkfish filet was small and thin. Didn't experience the "poor man's lobster" effect. Fries were narrow and became limp in fish sauce. Crab was overwhelmed by cheese in dip. Okay meal but not worth the money. So noisy it was a relief to leave."

  • "A friend and I had dinner at Lucys and once again had a great meal. Service was great, food was good and the owner was there at the end of the meal. Continues to be one of the gems in Mississauga."

  • "I'm a seafood fanatic and I like to go to seafood restaurants for seafood. The service is ok. I pretty much go because of the food. The Jack shrimp is really tasty!"

  • "Lucy's has been my favourite restaurant for many years. My husband and I have dined there often. It was one of the things I missed when we moved away from Mississauga. My husband planned dinner there for Mother's Day because we were in Mississauga for an event in the afternoon. As usual, the food was fabulous, the service spot on. The wine perfect and the ambience great. I love the new décor in the dining room."

  • "Lucy's is always a treat to eat at. The menu offers variety to meet anyone's taste and the meals are cooked to perfection. The prices are reasonable and the service is prompt and with a smile."

  • "Lucy's provided something for everyone. For fish and seafood lovers there is lots of choice. For those that do not like fish/seafood there are not many choices but the choices they do have are excellent. We had a pulled pork nacho appetizer and it was probably the best pulled pork we have ever had. The staple halibut fish n chips was delicious."

  • "We go here often because the food is consistently very good. Probably the most you will ever pay for fish and chips, however, you will not likely ever find another restaurant with anything better. Simply outstanding and huge portions. The swordfish was amazing and as usual, cooked to perfection. They also have the best fries (either regular or sweet potato) than anywhere we've ever been. Len, the owner, is an outstanding host."

  • "We all enjoyed our meals. My Ontario fish was good, but a little on the bland side. My reservation asked for a table by the window and I got it! Overall experience was very good and I believe Lucy's offers good value."

  • "We had lunch at Lucy's on Thrusday Ar 24th and the food, as expected, was great. Service was very good - attentive and courteous. This is a great place for a business lunch, with an excellent menu and with a noise level that makes it easy to have a conversation. Well done Lucy's"

  • "As always, we enjoyed our dinner out at Lucy's. I had the spicy noodles with chicken and shrimp and my hubby had fish and chips. Both these dishes are favourites that we have had before. We also recommend the chicken livers. Always good food. "

  • "Moved out of the area - hadn't been back in awhile - the decor changed and looks refreshed and modern - food is excellent and plentiful - service was fantastic (even though it was Good Friday and the restaurant was completely full). I will make the effort and go back again soon!!"

  • "This restaurant is in my neighbourhood and I haven't been here for a while as it thought it needed a renovation. I read some reviews about it that indicated that it was renovated a couple years ago so I decided to try it with a dear friend. We were both impressed with the restaurant and our food. Our food were cooked just right. Even more impressive was our server Alex. He was knowledge hospitable. He did a great job!"

  • "Fish is fresh and well done - never over cooked. Pre-dinner salads are surprisingly good."

  • "The Arctic Char was supposed to have a salsa on it-barely visible and quite bland. The fish was cooked well and portions are very large, but it lacked some refining, very little flavour. The coconut shrimp was almost overdone. There was a big party in the centre of the restaurant, very loud for all other diners around them. I used to love this restaurant when it was on McClaughlin, but havent been in a long while-I felt a bit disappointed-perhaps another menu choice would have been better. Service was good, food was lacklustre."

  • "we were a group of 4 celebrating a birthday--the usual excellent service, good food and pleasant atmosphere."

  • "I'm deeply suspicious of "Voted favourite seafood restaurant" style awards as I believe these are often manipulated, but nevertheless still wanted to try out Lucy's. The starters (popcorn shrimp and Cajun crab dip) were excellent, and the Seafood Pasta superb. The fish n chips were good, though no better than other places. The New Orleans Classic Etouffee was hardly classic New Orleans... not bad, but unlikely we'd order that again. Slow service to start with but got better as the evening wore on. Friendly ambience, good place for conversation with the music kept soft. Prices are very, very reasonable...the final bill was a pleasant surprise. Favourite seafood restaurant? That would be a stretch, but definitely one I'd visit again."

  • "We Love Lucy's. Found it by staying at the Courtyard. Will alway's go there for dinner when visiting Toronto. The Food is great and the waitress very attentive and friendly. Nothing bad about our experience."

  • "For the first time we found this restaurant very busy which to me means either great food or cheap prices for cheap food. But not in this case the food was great and the prices were just for all the dishes we chose. We recommend this restaurant and will definitely Be back.. This restaurant is great for families with children for gatherings and for special occasions and celebrations."

  • "We took our teens out to Lucy's because we wanted to try it out and they had a teen menu on-line. When we got there we were told that they no longer had that menu but they were very helpful at finding our fussy boys something they would like. Overall we had a great experience and will try it again but my etoufe had very little flavour and my husband's chowder was over seasoned. The oysters were fresh and the deserts were good but the apple crumble was a little sweet for me. I will have to try a few more things on the menu to decide whether or not this one is a keeper."

  • "Ate at Lucy's a few years back a good many time, but moved out of the area. Decided to take the long drive over and revisit. What a shame we waited so long. Everything was as great,,, maybe even better than ever. We decided to split a bunch of things. Sitting in the bar for happy hour allowed us to get really affordable portions of a variety of things, then share a couple mains. Oysters Rockefeller, mussels, raw oysters, crab dip and some kicking jambalaya. Followed by mains of king crab and dolphin. All items were delish and the service was perfect. It was so nice to return and see what we had been missing, we had to run back out a few weeks later and are already trying to plan another trip."

  • "We enjoy ourselves every time we go to Lucy's. We were warmly welcomed and promptly seated. The food and service were great as usual. There is lots of selection on the menu t satisfy everyone's tastes. My favorite is the cup of clam chowder and the salmon. The overall noise level was moderate so it was easy to carry on a conversation without straining to hear. Another great experience."
