The food was pretty good, the scallops were AMAZING, the antelope was good (not great) and the mint chocolate cake was yummy. I really liked how there were two portions offered for a dish, I was able to eat just enough without getting overly stuffed. The outdoor patio area was very nice and relaxing, loved all the plants and the pond. I would go back for a glass of wine and to sit out side. Service was decent, our busser was very friendly and attentive.

My husband and I were very disappointed by our experience here. The food looked incredible, but it did not taste incredible. We have eaten far better meals at many other restaurants. My salmon benedict was not very flavorful and our French toast was burned on the outside, but gooey on the inside. The ambiance was pretty, but not special. The service was not excellent either. I had high expectations for Lucy due to other reviews that I read, but my expectations were definitely not met and we definitely will not go back here.

With all the many famous restaurants in Yountville and with this being our 4th visit, we wanted to try something new with our adult children. I happened to walk by the morning of our reservation and just peek in. I was greeted so nicely (even though the restaurant wasn't even open yet) and explained that we had reservations that evening. She wanted to show me the table they had selected for us and it was the best center table in the house! We were treated that evening like we were the only ones there; the presentation and explanation of each dish was superb! We loved being able to order two half orders to experience more of their fresh cuisine. Cannot say enough great things about Lucy's...our new favorite restaurant in Yountville!!!

I'm so glad we gave Lucy another chance, thanks to GM Ross Wheatley reaching out and telling us about Dog Bar. 3 of us went and brought 2 dogs, then stayed (minus one dog) for dinner outside. It seemed like every person on staff came out to greet us and our dog, and made sure we all felt very welcome. It will be our new go to dog friendly place, despite the longer drive. The Maine lobster risotto was flawless--great seasoning, bright acidity, lobster and rice properly cooked. Carrot salad was again a hit, and the burger was tasty. Even the very plain chicken breast I ordered for the dog was perfectly cooked and delicious, and it had NO seasoning! Highly recommended, and bring your dog!!

Fresh squeezed oj was delicious. I really couldn't tell it was fresh because I how sweet it wa though. The bowl of fruit was great just sour blackberries but oh well. Last but not least my chilaquiles were too spicy for me :( They looked super good but I didn't like the flavor much.

The corn soup was mostly cream, s2nd course was a joke! Steamed colorful carrots had no flavor at all and some supposed sauce was absent. It was bland, way too many carrots and a waste of time. A salad with fresh produce that is so abundant right now would have made more sense to an already starchy first course. The scallops were perfect but on yet another starch, corn pudding. But only 2 scallops? I have ordered scallops in endless restaurants and have always had three if not four! The dessert was lovely! My husband order Prosecco, $10 a glass and asked to have a little orange juice in it. Somehow the addition of that turned the prosecco into a $16 drink. Orange juice is cheaper than prosecco. This meal was a complete ripoff!!

The Bardessono is absolutely amazing. The architecture, ambiance, and scenery are beautiful. But Lucy was so so for breakfast. The coffee was great, the fruit excellent, and the service was decent. Her eggs were very, very good, but my French Toast? Ughh. It was completely soggy and way, way undercooked throughout. Honestly, not edible at all. By the time they came to check on us, she was finished so I didn't give it a 2nd go. But they were great about adjusting the bill. We would return for sure though.

Was hesitant reading some of the negative comments from the past reviews online but we decided to go for it and are we glad we did, we enjoyed ourselves tremendously! The food was very good, they are true to their word about from the farm to the table fresh. Service was very attentive but not hanging all over you. Atmosphere - we chose to eat outside in their courtyard and with their unique heaters were very comfortable as well as all the other guests and had a very quiet, peaceful and memorable evening.

We purchased a Living Social deal for the 4 course lunch with a $30 wine credit. We had a wonderful, light and sweet corn soup as a starter with a dollop of cold panna cotta. Just right for a hot day. Soup was followed by a baby carrot salad which was more than adequate. Entrees were a choice of Maine Diver's Scallops or Mary's chicken (check out website for prep) - both were very good although we both gave the Diver's scallops the edge over the chicken. Dessert followed of panna cotta with strawberries - light and yum. Many wines to choose from to make good use of the $30 credit. Service was attentive. We sat outside on the patio with our doggie - very quiet and relaxing compared to the bustle of the wineries and Yountville scene.

Lovely location in a charming part of Yountville. The layout of tables in the restaurant and the garden seating area was open and spacious. Quality of the food and the cocktails was outstanding. Service was very good. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday and informed the staff about it. They brought out one of the desserts with a birthday greeting written on the plate without making a huge or noisy fuss about it. The only thing to have made it better would have been for them to have not charged for it. Complimentary valet parking was a plus. All in all a lovely experience if you happen to be in the area!

We were unsure of this Restaurant since it was a part of a Resort complex. Boy were our fears wrong. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on an outdoor veranda. This decor was lovely, with wood and trellis accents. The food was some of the best--for lunch--that we had in Yountville--and that says a lot considering this is a foodie Mecca.

We had a great dinner at Lucy's. The food was fresh (many of the ingredients came from their private garden) and delicious. We liked that they offered 1/2 portions for most dinner entrees, which is what we ordered. We were surprised when we got our food, it didn't seem like a 1/2 portion...it was perfect! We had cocktails (sangria and Strawberry Fields) which were both delicious. Dessert was also great we had the Chocolate Mint and Grilled Peaches. The service was very good, our waiter could have been a tad more attentive and could have checked on us a bit more. I would probably go to this restaurant again at some point, but there are SO MANY great restaurants in the area, I'd probably want to try something new next time.

My wife and I had dinner here when the Lucy Restaurant first opened. This year we decided to celebrate our Anniversary here and were not disappointed. We were surprised that it was not more crowded and feel sorry that more people do not seem to know that it is here. But for people who are willing to make the discovery the Lucy Restaurant is well worth it. We were treated and served very well. Each course was well prepared and very creative. The hotel and restaurant are very modern and I have to assume that some people might find it rather cold. We found it just right for our special night and we very happy that we choose to have our celebration here.

The food was very good - well prepared and presented. The service, while by no means inadequate, was less than expected. We had to wait much longer than usual to order, and to receive a replacement wine glass. Also, it was never clear just who was in charge of our table. It was service by committee. Overall, it was a good dining experience but it could have been much better had the service been commensurate with the food quality and price.

Our entire experience from beginning to end at this lovely spot was beyond amazing. If you're looking for an innovative take on fresh cooking, this is your spot in the Napa Valley. I grew tired of all the heavy, creamy, French cooking and this was just what the doctor ordered: light, fresh, farm-to-table goodness. Every bite was delish. And the service? Best! From the valet to the hosts, bartenders, servers and spa, these people anticipated our next move and choreographed it to a "T". We can't wait to go back again and again!

Four of us went here for dinner. Our waiter brought out the wine we ordered and took our orders and disappeared. Our salads came 30 minutes later. One of our group ordered a full dinner the rest of us ordered 2 small dishes. 30 minutes later 2 of the three small orders arrived and nothing else. After an hour the wait staff cleared our table and brought dessert menus. We had not seen Nick, our waiter in 2 hours. Obviously we were upset the staff apologized and offered free desserts for the table. Our food finally arrived at 10 pm. our reservations were for 7:15 pm. All of the food was excellent but the service was inexcusable. Our meals should have comped, at least the ones that arrived 2 hours late. Free dessert, REALLY!

As if Yountville needed another great restaurant, LUCY is truly a grand experience. The staff, ultra modern decor, and the food could not rate more stars than I can bestow. It was romantic and unique from the moment we arrived. My wife, who teaches gourmet cooking was very pleased and impressed with the unique taste touches to each item. Sometimes a new restaurant tries too hard to bring a special flavor and some ricochet, but at LUCY, every single trick works. And how. Can't wait to tell friends... and return. == Stu

We dined at Lucy on our visit to Napa. It was nice that they offer half portions so that you can try more of the menu, but to be honest the food wasn't great. I had half portion of halibut and half portion of antelope. The halibut was outstanding, but the antelope was a little over cooked & tough. My wife had the gnocchi & the salmon. The salmon was ok, better than the antelope but not nearly as good as the halibut. The gnocchi was cooked well, but it was not flavored we'll in my opinion. The restaurant is in a beautiful hotel and the grounds are gorgeous.
