  • "Enjoyed a tasty brunch after church, sitting outside on a beautiful day. On our way to attend The Kid silent film, Greensboro Youth Syphony accompanied the film. Excellent!"

  • "I'm from Raleigh and my mom lives outside of Statesville. I wanted to find a 1/2 way point to meet and take her to dinner for her birthday. When I searched for Greensboro Restaurants, Lucky 32 was one of the 1st on the list. When I saw it, I ceased looking because I loved and miss the Raleigh location. We met, was able to sit outside because the evening was temperate. The food, as always, is top quality with nice attention to detail. It has been a long time since I dined at Lucky 32 and my favorite dish used to be "Suffolk Chicken". It wasn't on the menu, but I was able to "recreate" it from one of the current menu items. There were 4 of us and everyone enjoyed their selections very much. Thank you for a fabulous dining experience."

  • "I booked my reservation on Open Table, asking for a quiet area for a family birthday party. They confirmed my reservation. When we arrived early, we only had to wait less than 5 minutes for our own private room! Wait staff were excellent and had a great sense of humor. Did not have to wait long for our food, drinks were refreshed immediately. Waitress (forgot her name) provided plates for a birthday cake we brought in, lit the candles and took photos for us. Everyone loved the food and we will definitely come back or go to the one in Cary which is closer to where I live in Durham. What a gem!"

  • "We were on our way to a concert in Greensboro after having driven for 3 hours from Asheville. We were welcomed and seated and the wait person was there immediately.. We soon had our drinks and appetizers. and wonderful bread for the table!! We were never rushed and later placed our orders. The salmon, pork belly, catfish, were all fabulous. The sides (kale and beans were the best) were wonderful: aspearagus, cornbread, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, and grit cake! And for dessert: peanut butter pie, buttermilk pie, vanilla icecream with caramel and sea salt, and chocolate pie. they were all to die for! The food, the ambience, and the service were perfect!"

  • "Great food & great service. In town on business, had dinner at Lucky 22 on our 2nd night in town. Everything was good that we decided to go back the next night. I never eat at the same place 2 nights in a row. Looking forward to my next trip to Greensboro ."

  • "My two favorite restaurants in Greensboro are both owned by Quaintance Weaver - Green Valley Grill and Lucky 32. I love the seasonal menus as there is always something new and wonderful to try. We had a large group at lunch and by having a reservation there was no wait, the service was excellent and timely and the food wonderful. The noise level can get a little loud but not so much that you can't hold a conversation."

  • "My husband really enjoyed his meal. My meal was good but not great. I think Fry Chicken should be apart of the daily menu, since its a southern kitchen. I would love that!!! Overall very nice.."

  • "I've eaten at Lucky's many times and the service is usually quite good. This time it wasn't very good. First: I had made reservations but we were given a terrible table next to the kitchen. Second: We had to ask the server for obvious things, and sometimes had to ask a second time. We felt ignored and forgotten for much of the meal. Third: the food was quite good, as it nearly always is, so the meal wasn't a complete bust, but more solicitous service would have made a so-so outing a standout."

  • "My 11 year old picked Lucky 32 for her birthday dinner. The food was fantastic, as always. We enjoyed the chicken livers and voodoo pig bread for appetizers. The swordfish & shepherd's croquettes were excellent and you can never go wrong with the collards, pintos & chow chow, or any of their other delicious veggies. They were very busy when we went in at 6pm but the service was great! Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We look forward to returning soon."

  • "The shrimp & grits w/andouille sausage was a little too salty for my taste. The service was great. Ambience was fine. They were very very busy. Glad to see that, along with prom-goers. Very nice. But, I'm not very old, & I had a hard time hearing waiter @7:00 pm. A squealing baby behind us didn't help. Not sure if I'd consider this a place to bring a toddler on a Saturday night. But, someone did! So could have just been our luck. We thought the "farm stand" outside was charming, & great hint of menu offerings. Less salt next time. We will go back, & of course with Open table, our table was ready when we were!"

  • "True to its name, this is a southern food restaurant. The ambiance was good, albeit noisy like so many restaurants today. Food presentation was great. We had the most patient waitress since our group had a couple of.....um....older people obviously not used to having so many choices for side dishes. All in all, it was a pleasure to dine here."

  • "We needed a special place. Wanted great food, good wine selection, reliable service. Lucky 32 was the perfect choice. It is always one of our favorites, but this night was extra special. Hamburger steak never tasted so good, and the Shrimp & Grits was fabulous as usual. Consistent, great place to eat. Highly recommend."

  • "The service was really slow. The food was just ok and not piping hot when it arrived. It was a pretty limited menu for dinner and there were not many appetizer choices that could be shared. The bar staff were friendly while we waited and the hostesses were very welcoming. The server never introduced herself and we had to ask someone twice to go find her. My wife loves Lucky 32 for lunch, but I was not impressed for dinner. Maybe it was an off night."

  • "Not a fan of grits, but in honor of my mother (88) who loves shrimp and grits - I tried them! What a shock!!!! Loved every bite. I will not have to look at a menu the next time I come for dinner. They were absolutely out of this world!!.. My wife had the salmon and enjoyed it very much.. All in all - a great place to celebrate my wife's birthday. I won't need an excuse to come back. Thanks"

  • "Great Food, Service would have been excellent, except, when we had a question, the waiter just answered he thinks so, or I do not think so. He should have said, I am not sure, let me find out. He should never guess. I was very disappointed. The question was about food allergies my family had. The waiter was patient though."

  • "The food and service was very good. We hadn't been there in years, and it was still up to the standards I recalled. I had the She Crab Soup (lots of large pieces of crab, not enough sherry), Trillium Salmon (weird and not good horseradish sauce, otherwise the salmon had a nice char-grilled flavor). We shared the fried green tomatoes appetizer which was okay, but then I'm not a fan of fried green tomatoes. This has always been, and remains, a go-to spot. However, I was disappointed that there were two boys around the ages of 5 & 7 who were running around their table and screaming while their oblivious parents looked on. No one from the restaurant staff attempted to diffuse the situation. This just about ruined it for me and my guest."

  • "We love this place and every friend we've introduced it to has become a regular. Outstanding appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts with enough variety to tempt us away from our favorites on occasion. Never had a problem with the service--always excellent. It should be on everyone's list of special places."

  • "We had been at the ACC tournament and wanted to take some friends from Atlanta out to a nice dinner. Lucky 32 was perfect. The table was ready, the service was great, and the food was outstanding. It could not have been a better experience. Appetizers were super and main course right on time. Even went to the bar for an after dinner drink and watched a little hoops!"

  • "Loved the fact that you could order 3 sides with the special entrees. Sides were incredible as well as the entrees. It is interesting that the sides were served room temperature. Not sure I fully appreciated that."

  • "I have been here several times . The food is great and they are farm to table which I like. They also list some of the local growers. The menu changes seasonally which I think keeps it from being predictable, The servers are knowledgable regard pairing wine with their appetizers as well as entres."

  • "We tried several appetizers, all of which were great. Everyone ordered a different entree and there was not a marginal plate in the four; everything was outstanding. One of the party was a member of a French food society and she was very impressed."

  • "I have been going to Lucky 32 for years, Great Sat.Sun. Brunch. Great Lunches and Dinners, The menu is changed and always a great selection of light to heavier meals. Only 55 minutes from my house. Convenient for shopping areas and access. Look forward to going again. Staff is top notch."

  • "My daughter heard about this place in the news. We are new to area and love to explore fresh foods and wanted to check out the Voodoo sauce. We were not disappointed. This was our second visit in two weeks for brunch. First visit I had the bananas foster French toast...amazing! This visit I had the pulled pork over grits in brown sauce with poached eggs...also very good. I had to bring some home as it was very filling and rich. We had the appetizer of bruschetta with goat cheese and pork ..perfect for three and quite good. Hubby had the special pulled lamb over grit cakes which he totally enjoyed and daughter had the burger...also taking home leftovers. The service is perfect and love the wait staff professional attire. Love it!"

  • "The food is not a typical resturant. There is a lot of new things. Read the online menu before you take a group. I love the resturant, but with a large group some of the food was warm, no hot."

  • "Lucky 32 Greensboro was a wonderful dining experience. The place is beautiful, the food was wonderful and the service was great. They started with some of the best bread I've had. I highly recommend this for a night out with friends or a special someone!!"

  • "My wife and I dined here for our night out. The fried green tomatoes were fantastic! I had the Cajun spiced pork loin chops which were amazing and my wife had the delta pasta which she loved. Service and atmosphere was great, the brownie sundae was also very good. The only negative was a drink my wife ordered; Cherry on Top. She didn't care for the taste of it and the name is a little misleading. We didn't mention anything of it as we had no problems paying for it even if she didn't drink it. However, our waitress recognized that she had barely touched her drink and comped it from our bill I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend."
