Lucile’s is a full service restaurant and bar serving lunch and dinner seven days a week and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. The menu is centered around "American Food Classics" -- popular American dishes made from classic recipes updated with today’s palate. The daily blackboard features fish specials that change daily. The bar features a wide variety of beer and wine, plus popular "classic cocktails" also made from traditional American recipes. Service is brisk, efficient and friendly.   • "On our last two visits, an order for a hamburger with NOTHING on it but a slice of tomato on it has been served with a whole lost of stuff on it! This has not been the fault of the server who ordered it correctly...but apparently of the kitchen, This time a manager brought the replacement and apologized. If the first several times, it could be served as ordered...makes one wonder what is happening of late."

  • "Copper River Salmon cooked on a cedar plank with fresh vegetables roasted along side - what else can I say! It's so easy to overcook Salmon but Lucile's chefs don't fall into that trap. Delicious! Fried Green Tomato appetizer was super. The Pizza is always great. And I must mention the best idea for serving cocktails in martini glasses ever devised - serve some of the cocktail in the glass but bring a sidecar of a small vessel of ice with a flagon holding the remainder of the drink so it stays icy cold. Kudos!"

  • "We had been here before to have their awesome Key Lime Pie, but we wanted to have dinner there as well. It was great. The Juicy Lucy was excellent and you can't beat the chicken fried steak. It was my wife's birthday and the manager and waitress went out of their way to put a candle in her pie and ice cream as well, even though this isn't something they really do. The key lime pie is incredible! Definitely a fine eatery and experience, we'll be going back!"

Service was slow and awkward initially - especially considering the number of people there at the time we arrived (530 on a Friday evening). He seemed to hit his stride about midway through. Get an apple-berry martini. "

  • "Located in an historic wedge-shaped building that housed two predecessor classics, Steve's Cafe starting in 1927, then Finley's Cafe from the late 40s to the late 70s. Nice, but casual, atmosphere largely preserving the original decor, but stepped up a bit from the cafeteria era. Moderately large menu with selections from sandwiches and burgers to the more frequently chosen full lunch and dinner items. Everything made from scratch with fresh ingredients except maybe the bread. Great, variable specials. Decent wine selection. Attentive service. Most dinner entrees run between roughly $15 and $25, some a bit lower and higher, with low-cost sandwiches and salads also on the menu. Hard-to find seasonal Copper River Salmon was a June 1 special!"

  • "My first time to dine at Lucile's and I will definitely go back. Food and service were awesome. I had the Ribeye and it was delicious. Cooked exactly the way I ordered and very juicey and tender. My husband had the chickened fried steak. The batter had great flavor and steak was tender. My youngest son (age 29) had the filet he said it was the best he had ever eaten. My oldest son (age 31) had the crab cakes and he also raved about them! Oh and I can't forget about the yummy peach cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream-WOW! "

  • "Well worth the drive from Dallas. My spouse had been to Lucile's once before and wanted to go back. A varied menu offers a good selection of entrees, including sea food, steaks, chicken, pasta and salads. The shrimp and andouie sausage boil looked wonderful and was enjoyed by my spouse. Our friend had the chicken-fried steak, which is what I am getting the next time. I went for the angel hair pasta with the grill salmon. It was perfect. A full bar includes a decent wine list, all at very reasonable prices."

  • "Great food and service but prices for this neighborhood bistro have gone way up serving the same food from 15 yrs ago. $15 angel hair plain noodles really? cup of bisque $7 steak or fish specials at $28 and $32 is way over priced for what this place is. A good solid 3 star restaurant that has been around for ever. If you weren't drinking martinis then 2 people used to get out for under $40-45 with tip but now your looking at $75-80+? a bit priced out for a quick week night dinner and I guess it's now a special occasion place but would probably choose another spot for the price vs what you get. Will miss you Lucile's!"
