  • "Our recent visit to Lucianos was disappointing at best. Though the atmosphere is vibrant and lively the food was only fair and service was inattentive. We did not receive our drinks until we were finishing our entrees and our server wanted to keep clearing our plates before we finished. The table next to us actually had two rounds of drinks while we were still waiting. We were told they were behind at the bar. Just because we are in conversation does not necessarily mean we are finished with our meal. We told the server that we were still eating and she put our plates back. The pasta was undercooked (not al dente) and was extremely spicy (not a comfortable spicy). All in all not a great dining experience, won't be back."

  • "The food was delicious....service was a little sketchy at first (seemed like the waitress was talking down to us) but she got much better. Didn't care too much for the constant hovering around to "whisk" our plates away (if you weren't finished you had to HOLD on to the plate). The place was pretty loud but very clean & crisp...I will try it thru the week for lunch in the near future!"

  • "Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and excellent service. Wonderful gem to have so close to home. Thank goodness they participated in restaurant week 2014, otherwise, I would not have gone. I had seen the restaurant upon attending a concert at Gwinnett Center a year ago; thinking that I may want to try it one day. Upon arrival it does not look as beautiful as it is inside. The décor takes you to another world entirely. This restaurant is upscale but not pretentious. The servers are extremely attentive, yet not bothersome. Their many offerings are tasty and delicious enough for any foodie. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "This restaurant was a surprising find tucked away in a Kroger plaza. I only knew about them because they were a host for Gwinnett restaurant week with 3 courses for $21.21pp. The shrimp appetizer in tomato sauce was delicious, as was the salmon stuffed with real crabmeat entree and the dessert of chocolate covered pb ice cream. The food, our server Sean and the experience itself was perfect. Couldn't have been better. Glad to have discovered this hidden gem & at such a great price due to the special with restaurant week."

  • "I've eaten at Luciano's 8 or 10 times. I would describe the food as amazing. 5 stars easily. I was very excited to go for restaurant week, and unfortunately, was very disappointed with the appetizers and main dishes. We had all of them between the group, and nothing was particularly good. Wouldn't say inedible, although the pork chop approached it, and the salmon had an off flavor. The desserts were excellent, as usual. I would recommend for any time of year other than restaurant week. This place is usually a hidden gem."

  • "I dined at Luciano's with three other people. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The menu is straightforward Italian, with steaks, chicken, veal, and various pasta selection. I had the veal picatta, and found it flavorful though a bit on the tough side for my liking. The other guests had chicken parmaggiana and chicken marsala. It was "good", but not extraordinary. The caesar salad was very good. However, it was too LOUD in the restaurant, with live music that was completely out of place for the kind of restaurant it was, to the point of not being able to hear the person sitting next to you. It made NO SENSE to have live music in this restaurant, or at least, such LOUD live music. Because of this, I would not return."

  • "Had I paid attention to the price before arriving, I would have balked. But overall I'm quite glad we went. The brunch buffet is a thrice-yearly event at Luciano's (Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day) and is worth it for these special occasions. My wife completely enjoyed the peel 'n eat shrimp, while my daughter and I went for prime rib and lamb. I finished up with a waffle and bacon, because... well, bacon! And the carmel-apple pie was a great dessert! More money than I'd typically spend, but definitely a BIG step above other special occasion buffets I've been to. Worth a try if you've got the budget for a special occasion."

  • "Let me start by saying the service is absolutely wonderful! ! The food unfortunately is very bland. Went there for the first time for. Mother's day brunch and enjoyed everything I ate. Went back about a month later for dinner and was highly disappointed. If Italian authenticity means no seasoning then they are the real deal. Food is visually appealing but ends there. Between the 3 people at our table we tried the scallop appetizer, the chicken wing appetizer, the mushroom ravioli, the fettuccine alfredo, cow girl steak, mushroom risotto, and the banana bread pudding. All tasted like it was prepared for an elderly person on a restricted diet. We will not be returning though the prices are reasonable."

  • "Excellent! Everything was cooked to perfection, lovely presentation and the flavors were wonderful. Atmosphere is elegant - linen table cloths & napkins, soft lighting, soft music, etc. I'll be back! My only complaint was our waiter. One person ordered 4 appetizers, wanting two of them as a main course, and the waiter asked us which appetizers he wanted to receive first. We told him, and he disagreed with us, saying it would be easier for HIM if he brought the other two appetizers first. We complied, but it messed up our dining. The other person's main course arrived first, so we sat and waited (not wanting to eat his main course!). Then when the main course arrived for everyone else, the appetizers arrived. Bad timing, unnecessary."

  • "It's a pretty bad showing when both my wife and I have to return our entrees because they're terrible. How can an Italian restaurant overcook pasta? How do you overcook veal to the point of being inedible? Lamb oso buco becomes dried out after being described as "fall off the bone tender." Maybe it was just a bad night but I scratched this one off my list."

Others on staff were aware of keeping our water glasses filled, removing empty plates, etc, and this was done in a manner that their presence was hardly noticed. Meals were good. However, the calamari (which I've had there before) was barely okay. It didn't have much taste and some pieces were over cooked. Overall, our experience at Luciano's was very good."

  • "Very repented of having done, not allowing my husband takeme to his favorite BoneFish.I read bad reviews of people recently.I pay dearly my selection, the waiter we had wasn't kind, helpful contrary neglected,slow, the worst part ordering food because in my pasta dish I found a hair, it was something horrible and disgusting for me, also my husband noticed its chicken was not well done and had the skin over, today a restaurant with quality control and offering healthy meals must remove skin from chicken, it's something that I usually do at home therefore unacceptable to my husband. I share this review to avoid anyone live this. We never would recommend this restaurant to anybody and we already deleted it from our list forever."

  • "Dining room was very loud and they added a guitar player who I think was pretty good, but it just added to the noisiness in the dining room making it difficult to carry on conversations. Dined here a year ago and noticed menu has been redone, some less expensive items have been deleted. Our waiter told us they are on the lunch menu. Overall, the food was ok and the dishes were creative."
