From the savory, ice cold dirty martini to the last bite of pasta carbonara, the meals are great. We shared an order of plump, flavorful crab cakes to start, followed by the Caesar salad and pasta. Fresh-baked focaccia requires self control because its so good. Nice wine selection, too. They are continuing "restaurant week" even though it is officially over. They offer 3 amazing courses for $28. They also have an excellent happy hour selection which made it hard to choose. We all enjoyed everything immensely! Pear Gorgonzola baguette was yummy! Even the spinach pear salad. I'll you decide. We also had Sicilian meatballs, salmon and gnocchi. Ive lived in Kirkland for 2 years, and drive by Lucia at least 4 times a week due to the nearby grocery store, but never went in. Their special menu was really diverse and creative. My meal was wonderful, server was knowledgeable and the restaurant was really fun atmosphere.
We went on a Thursday night that wasn't particularly busy, but seems like it would be a great place to meet for HH or eat on the weekends.

So, it was booked up which we were not sure is typical of most Wednesday nights. We sat in the upstair's loft looking down on the entrance area and somewhat removed from the crowds.
The food was innovative and tasted delicious. We both had the pear and Gorgonzola crostinis followed by the wild salmon that came with gnocchi and asparagus. For dessert my friend had the dolce with salted carmel sauce and I had the warm chocolate soufflé as they were already out of the chocolate decadence cake by 7:30 pm, but it was an amazing substitution that I would have again.
