"The food was traditional and nothing outstanding. The tile floor and brick walls made a half full restaurant sound very full. The waitress was cordial but forgetful. When we were leaving, we asked for some extra slices of the delicious bread and were told to pay $5 for a loaf. It's the cheapest thing you can get and that response was not appreciated."

"A hidden gem located in Winchester square. Food selection was very good with a broad range of pasta, creative home made italian specialties and seafood entrees. Portions were good sized however entrees only came with side of bread ( excluding pasta served with each dish) and is not a bargain priced eatery. Food was well prepared, with well balanced seasoning and pleasant taste. We enjoyed every dish we tried and the wait staff was pleasant and informative if not slightly over attentive, however we did go on a slow Monday night. Overall a very good experience."

"I have been to Restorante Lucia's in Winchester many times. This time was a special occasion for a birthday party for a close friend.
I was very disappointed this time, the service was poor, the food was just okay. I think the reason might have been they had a very large party in the main Dining Room. We did not sit in the dining room but in a little alcove near the kitchen. Not a great table."

"The restaurant menu is ambitious. Prices are medium to inexpensive. The location is convenient in Winchester Center. The service was good, but servers kept rushing us - noone was waiting after us - they kept swooping in and taking some diners meals, asking if we were done when we weren't - we were not there too long. The music was too loud & an inappoprriate choice for a dinner restaurant. The server did not know much about the wines. The pasta sauce was very good. Other dishes were fair - ok. A stuffed veal chop special was fatty & tough."

"Went to Lucia on a Sunday Night with a party of 8 people. The place was less than half full and my concerns that there may be limited staff and 2nd string chefs was alleviaed quickly. The service was great and the food was far above average. The menu selection was great for both kids meals (no separate kids menu)and for more refined adult tastes who want more than just standard Italian cuisine. Clean, fiendly and good service will bring me back again."
